Store chain Meijers is currently undergoing a reset of their store shelves, and 2005 Boards member Cleazer reports that some interesting tags are turning up on the shelves:
Transformers Bot Shot asst – $3.99
Transformers Big Rig Bot Shot asst – $7.99
Transformers Cyberverse Vehicle asst – $19.99
Transformers Prime Energon helmet – $19.99
Transformers Prime Powerizers asst – $19.99
A couple of these are things we already know of – The Cyberverse Vehicle assortment, per slides shown by Hasbro at SDCC and NYCC, is the Transformers Prime Starhammer with Wheeljack set. The Energon Helmet was previously indicated on information from the NTF Archive, and sounds like a new role play helmet for Transformers Prime.
Of the others, the Powerizers and the Bot Shots are unknowns. One might speculate that the Powerizers are the successors to the Power Bots, but we’re drawing a blank on what a Bot Shot is. For now though, nothing is known, so click on the discuss link to join in the speculation on our 2005 Boards.

BTW, I don't know if this is going around but Robot Kingdom has pictures of Bot Shot on their Pre Order Page, they actually seem kind of neat personally.

small update:
I checked again this evening, and the shelftag UPC barcode for the Bot Shots had the 53569 string of numbers in it, so its definitely a Hasbro product, not a licensed product from another company.

The trouble is almost every year since the mind 00's Hasbro have made something best described as "Tat" and stuck the Transformers brand name on it. So I wouldn't get your hopes up to soon.
Just look at the sort of (non core) Product they have made since 2007 :
Cyberslammers
Cyberstompers
RPM : battlechargers (The ones where just the cabin part Transforms)
Rpm's & Speedstars.
Stealthforce (various sorts)
Fast Action Battlers
GravityBots
Robo Power
Powerbots (various kinds – most very similar to Cyber-stompers)
Robot Heroes
IR remote control cars
Slot racing sets
Robot Power Go Bots
Movie 3 Activators (the ones a bit like Gravitybots)
Movie 2 Activators (the ones a bit like Chibi FAB's)
And so on…
Now their might be the odd bit in there that has wider appeal but there's an awful lot of tat in their too.
And you can kind of see that they like to make certain types of Product like a lot of things that are somewhat like Gravitybots or Cyberslammers for example or non Transforming Transformers like the Robo Power stuff.
So I say expect something Overpriced and a bit chibi.
But I'd not be surprised if they try to farm some more use out of RPM/Speedstars cars too in someway.
I have an idea that something they might revisit is something you used to see many years ago which is a smaller toy car enclosed in a bigger van or truck that pops out with a sprung action – I can see them selling something like that with RPM cars one day. I would post a picture But I can't remember the brand names of them.
It's sometimes a good idea to check concepts they are using in other brands that they can Transformerise as was done with Robot Heroes.

The Bot Shot pegs — there were nearly 10 pegs combined between the regular assortment and the "big rigs" (so don't assume the Big Rigs would just include Optimus) — were right next to the Cyberverse pegs. So they're not the same thing, and not replacing Cyberverse either.
That said, we don't even know for a fact that it's a Hasbro toy product at this point. We've seen other "non-Transformers toy" products in the Transformers sections of various stores in the past, so who knows, this could be the latest in the long history of TF-branded walkie-talkies/yo-yos/kites/mini-skateboards/other stuff that most collectors aren't really interested in.
Wow, that's a cool idea! If you could buy individual minicon type guys as Bot Shots that you could then attach to the Big Rigs to form a robot, that would be awesome. Customize your own combiner!
That said, it'll probably be something boring like yo-yos or spinning tops.

I guess will find out at Toy Fair next month.

Bot Shot = Cyberverse maybe?
Kaymac
Bot Shots sounds like a catchy name for Targetmasters? Maybe something to replace PCC?
RedAlert Rescue
They are out – just only at TRU.
tfprime32
i want the prime toys here!!!
its been a year now and still no toys out at retail!!
RedAlert Rescue
perhaps they might shell RPM cars in a bigger shell and have them shoot out by a spring ?
Oh and speaking of Chibi-Star wars – I was looking at this and it made me think if it folded up a bit it would make an ideal Starcom vehicle.

Big Rig Bot Shot is Optimus (obviously), and the big rig part makes me think of the big rig blaster from the movie line. It also suggests a lack of a robot mode, so Bot Shots are probably non-TFing vehicles w/ firing missiles.
Ribieconvoy
Read the rest of my post: I also theorized that the Optimus toy was non-transforming, just articulated. Honestly, there is NO kibble on that toy. Also, Voyagers are $19.99. In any case, I'm a bit curious now. I love it when a new line comes out
Sol Fury
It looks larger, and it features light up elements. Probably more of a downscaled (and downpriced) Ark than an upscaled playset.
Optimum1996
The Bot shots are similar to the Star Wars fighter pods (micro chibi versions of characters), this was announced at a tformers.com several months ago.. I'm not confirming it since for all we know it might have been false info, if the bot shots are $4 in the US it makes sense for Hasbro UK to sell it at £7 Thats if they're even released here..
Rogzilla
Hmm…based on how low the prices are, maybe Hasbro is selling weapon packs/individual weapons? Perhaps the "Big Rig" ones are light up weapons, like what the voyagers come with.
I'm probably wrong, but I suppose we won't know until Toy Fair.
Speaking of which, isn't Toy Fair supposed to be the time for the producers to show to retail what they are making? Isn't it a bit early for this reset?
bsutton1
They sound like energon drinks.. lol.
Stygian360
I'd agree with you, but at the price point mentioned ($19.99) I'd wager not, especially since the Prime toys with electronics will most likely be at least Voyager class, which are $24.99…aren't they? Also, with addtl electronics and various other features they may even be more than that.
But with Hasbro ever vigilant when it comes to potentially pricing items outside the range of fiesty kids with endulgent Mom's, perhaps they have changed things up for 2012 and are able to offer Voyagers with electronics and keep them below $20 bucks. So who knows. Maybe you're right!
General Tekno
Isn't the Wheeljack one larger than the DOTM vehicles though? It's more of a playset, I thought, and it has electronics too (which always bumps a price)
