With the US release of the Beast Hunters Ultimate Class – which will feature Beast Hunter Optimus Prime and Beast Fire Predaking – drawing ever nearer, Target have begun to put out the shelf tags for both of these releases. By way of 2005 Boards member JamesBenjamin who passes this information to us we can confirm that the price for both toys will be $59.99. The Target DCPIs are also as follows:
Beast Fire Predaking: 087-06-1976
Beast Hunter Optimus Prime: 087-06-1967
No word as yet on when these can be expected – but with them out in Australia and now the shelf tags appearing in Target, a first sighting at US retail is potentially days rather than weeks away.

We got a date on these now. They've been added to a planogram and will set the week of August 4. So, estimating conservatively, they should start showing up in stockrooms the week of July 21, give or take.
EDIT: This date is good for all of the Predacons Rising exclusives as well.
AMG
I want one, but $60 is a bit steep for Predaking.

I'll just wait for these to get clearanced out in January.

The dude needs some paint. Looks like it's time to start stalking my local Target's now.

Predacon Rising Predaking
Currently unavailable online, but at least it shows up now.

All it means is that they are two different assortments. IE: Voyagers, Deluxe, Legends are all assortments. They will occupy two spaces in a store's plan-o-gram.
They are also both main line retail releases that all stores should get. Neither is a store exclusive

I checked the DPCIs in the Target computer system this morning. They have not yet been added to a planogram. So there's probably at least a month before they start showing up at the stores.

A review was posted already by Kal El of Krypton that he does a good job showing the scale of Prime. He said that he is about 10-12 inches tall. And BIG and bulky. But REALLY back heavy. And you can't really remove the back wheel.
But as for Predaking. No reviews posted yet but I would think should be soon. But there was some in hand pics posted on the same thread on the main page on TFW here. And from what I've read before is that he has a wingspan of about 2 feet.
But as a side note though, I'm not sure about people going on about how Predaking should scale up to the other Predacons though. They haven't even shown the other ones on the show yet so we don't know what the scale should be.
Now unless this was in the comics, for which I don't read, I think that scall is all really based on people's opinions at this point.
Not that there's anything wrong with having a HUGE dragon.

No man none given or taken, I too have supreme cheetor on my shelf weilding his tail sword haha.

To me it's almost always the other way around. Going complex often seems to steam form a lack of thought, instead of figuring out how to get the most from each movement they just slap a bunch of fiddly movements on it.
It's like in a drawing, if you use tons of little lines you don't have to make sure each is perfect because they get lost in the among all the others, but if you use only a few, you can't hide a bad line.

My condolences.

Oh man, it's not heated.
Sorry. I seriously didn't mean to come off that way, but looking back at what I wrote it does seem like it I am.
Any way, no offense taken at all and I hope none given.
Also: I'm ashamed to admit that I have a Supreme Cheetor…
Robogeek28
So Prime got a video review days ago but still no review for Predaking anywhere?!?
Weak.
Hexatron
Haha yes, its not my collection so to each their own man. We just have dfferent tastes and that's perfectly fine. Not sure how this got heated to start with haha.
Smasher
That's what I'm doing.
But, hey, your Voyager Predaking is in scale with the Cyberverse line.
Yeah, as much as I'm in love with the Predaking, I'm not interested in Optimus at all.
Target Exclusive?
I thought the rumor was Predaking was a TRU exclusive.
I'm prolly confused.
If I say "yes" will you promise to stop discussing it with me?
Stygian360
Although I can't totally disagree with you on this…—^ these bots seems pretty solid. The recent review of Optimus at least proves this out. But we shall see.
Hexatron
So Smasher you are saying youd rather buy BM supreme cheetor than say warbot, just because he is larger and less money? if thats the case I don't think there is even a point to discussing this anymore haha.

Saw Prime here in Australia today – no way is he a $60 toy. I had no interest in the Voyager so he's an easy pass. Predaking looked better than the Voyager version though – but $60 is a bit steep for him I think. If he hits clearance, he might be worth it.
bobbyjack
I didn't buy the Voyager because I've been waiting for this Ultimate version of Predaking. I don't really want to buy this but my son has been asking for the big Predaking. He will start begging for this as soon as he sees it in the store. These will probably shelfwarm but Target won't clear them out until January. I might need to wait until Hasbro puts out a coupon or something…

So.. Does having different dpci numbers fuel the original rumor that Predaking is Target exclusive? Or is it just because they have different shaped packaging?
