Both are really cool guys.

I think this video proves that Cullen can still be a fun Optimus but the voice director for prime does not let it happen.

I think it's less the voice director and more the writing itself. There's not really any room in the scripts for Prime to be more "fun".

Why does everybody want Optimus to be fun? All the happy's should have been sucked out of him.

You want Happy? Hope they make a movie version of Exodus. Otherwise, Optimus will be happy when the war ends and both sides are at peace.

Loved Frank getting possessed by Megatron and vice versa.

Preference, some people like a fun more cartoony Optimus, some like commando Optimus like the movies and some (like myself) like Optimus to be portrayed a bit more realistic. Different strokes for different folks.

The great thing about Transformers is there is a place for everyone to meet their preference.

Peter was having a bit of fun, something he doesn't get to do too often as Optimus..and still letting us know there's some fight left in Prime.

I also find it interesting that Blum puts a little generic British accent on his Starscream lines here...

Love these guys a lot have all plans to meet them one day. Best actors ever child hood heroes not going to this years Botcon but will be going next year hope they are there.

It's always a little jarring hearing Frank Welker's real voice, since it's nothing like the various monsters and animals he usually plays.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.....Someone needs to invent a program that will allow voice legends to read something, like a specific book, into a microphone that then gets put in a program that will then be able to generate their voices. Thus immortalizing their voices.

You got that right; one would think he'd sound like a casual version of Nibbler's true voice or something, but nope. : D

All I know is I wouldn't wanna hear some of Franks Characters reading Goodnight Moon or Curious George.

Yeah, it's essentially his Fred Jones voice. In fact, I'd say that his normal voice if slightly higher-pitched than his Fred Jones voice.
