Beast Hunters - May be Transformers Prime Season 3 in Fall 2013

Thanks to Neo-Bombshell of the 2005 Boards, we have a possible confirmation of the recent “Beast Hunters” Trademark. According to a document he’s sharing with us via Google Docs, the new Trademark is the title for the upcoming Transformers: Prime Season 3. It is stated that we’ll get to see it in Fall 2013.

Also it is worth noting that Hasbro has plans for Transformers: Prime even beyond 2014 and Transformers: Generations will go until 2014.

We are yet to hear more about the upcoming season and the proposed IDW tie-in comics featuring Prime incarnation of the Dinobots and the recent Thundertron may even play a pivotal role. You can view the PDF formatted document via a Google Docs account Neo-Bombshell is sharing. He is also kind enough to translate the document and has posted at the thread.

Cool, I'm guessing the toys will get a repackage and subline? More Beastformers are always appricated especially if they keep up to the standard we've seen in Thundertron, FOC Grimlock and the FOC Insecticon which look very cool from what we've seen.

I wonder how this will effect Arms Micron though. Looking forward to the PDF.

Well this is certainly interesting. Guess this could explain why we're not hearing much about the next wave of toys for next year. They may be being kept as a secret for now until next year.

With this season title and the writers lamenting a while back about how they needed a place to fit the Dinobots where their beast-modes would actually let them "be in disguise"... I have a suspicion of where this is going.

Monster in the pic....kind of reminds me of Scourge from Cybertron.......which would fit if there is a "beast" colony world. Override being in charge of Velocitron and all.

Considering how cool Thundertron is, I think this still has potential. First and foremost, I hope we get Rampage (BW Rampage, not G1). That's one of my all-time favorite characters and if Depth Charge is getting a new toy, Rampage deserves one, too.

Jumping to conclusions, but... if it's Optimus and the gang fighting random monsters that have nothing to do with anything while Megatron and co. take a backseat you can count me out of this series.

This could potentially still be good....on the other hand it has the potential to kill Prime for me....will just have to wait and see. This certainly explains Thundertron getting a Voyager class figure. I just hope this doesn't keep Hasbro from releasing Ironhide and Smokescreen stateside. On the plus side, this might give them a reason to give us a Hardshell figure...

BTW, I think you need to make the PDF presentation public, or something like that. As-is the link takes me to a page telling me I need to "request access" to view it.

I hope the Beast isn't some giant alien Dragon they chase around Jasper for a year and can't seem to catch while it runs of with people's cars from the main road.

If Bumblebee got a Beast Mode would he be a Bee ? and would he buzz then instead of beep ?

In a way I'm glad it's not just a reboot of Beast Wars. The further Hasbro stays away from my guys, the better. I don't want them messing them up.

Besides!! I'm much happier having new material instead of just a retread. If anything, doing a new story is in keeping with the tradition of the Beast Era always doing something new instead of rehashing the past over and over.

I just have this hysterical idea of someone opening some dimensional gate to another space time location and flooding a bunch of draconic critters into the world, or local animals being mutated by Dark Energon into monsters.

And then them running about after some 25 foot bear for 22 minutes... Laugh.

I mean he already did the Dinobots and Insecticons in the Countinuity so what's to say he also experamented on other animal formers too? It'll make sense seeing how it ties into Shockwave's role in FOC and how he may bring into Prime later on.
