2005 Boards member Gunshot has shared with us another advance look at an upcoming Transformers Prime Beast Hunters release - from Beast Hunters Cyberverse Wave 2, here is a look at Soundwave! In Gunshot's own words, "This little Soundwave is fantastic, and looks fairly accurate in both modes. Articulation is as expected of legion class toys and at least he has elbow joints!"

Sorry. Just really excited for the Terrorcons.

So how's the transformation? It looks pretty similar to the Deluxe. I'm not entirely sold on the robot mode, but the drone mode looks nice.

Soundwave should have beena Commander class figure, but it still looks good. Impressive, actually.

Also, your Breakdown is briliant. DotM Cyberverse Ironhide's lower body and legs, with BD's upper body. Very nice!

Yup. I was annoyed with his small size, so I decided to do someting about it with the parts I had.

Some head articulation would have been nice, but the main problem is that he may be too short...so scale may be an issue for some.
He comes with the same weapon as smokescreen.
They should have come up with some new weapons imo. Renaming the same bladegun many times over is just not right ...

I picked up Hun-Gurrr too from the same wave, but will open him later when I get all 5 of em "terrorcons".

A much needed piece in any cyberverse prime collection !

If you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase soundwave? Through internet or at retail in your area? I have my pre-order through BBTS and patiently waiting (that could change haha) for soundwave to arrive =).

Well, wave 2 is out where I live, which is in Singapore. I believe they are releasing the new waves here early, to drum up excitment for the supposed showing of the Transformers Prime : Beast Hunters (120 mins) TV movie this Friday the 15th of March over here. Needless to say - I will try to rush home after work to catch it on the day !

Hope its true and not just some typo in the TV listings...

I'm mildly curious what more does a legion's bot mode require before you're "sold". He's got fairly show accurate colors and form, ball shoulders and hips, hinge elbows (and ankles?), and no real unsightly kibble. It honestly doesn't get too much better than this at the moment besides a few exceptional figures with elbows and knees plus the things I just mentioned, like Cliffjumper.

Soundwave is right up there at the top.

And I agree with the others here, Soundwave should have been a commander, not puny like Airachnid. Love that Breakdown mod, bummed I won't find those Ironhide legs anywhere now.

Yup. The risk with that, though, is that the multipack was announced as coming with a unique deco. We dont know exactly what that means, but it will be different to some degree from the single-pack releases. So if one wants to be sure to get the G1-inspired colors, one had better get the carded individual versions.

Once again...a complete homerun for Hasbro on the cyberverse front. My son can play with any of my transformers except high dollar stuff and he ALWAYS goes for the cyberverse.

I'm wishing they included a new class for cyberverse. Legion, commander, and something lightly bigger on the deluxe pricepoint. Like the DOTM cyberverse packs. Those were actually great for what they were. We still play with all of those...bumblebees apc is still.awesome for a.car hauler...

I'd have liked it to be a commander size. I was kind of hoping to get laserbeak in there as well. Obviously Laserbeak would have to be a one piece sculpt and take the place of the unique weapons that the commanders have. Still it looks to be very nicely molded.

The BH Deluxe Ravage looks good with this Cyberverse Soundwave. It looks like it could have been made for this purpose.

No leg; just feet due to transformation.
