The blue on Arcee looks much better in my opinon. It'll be a while to get the stickers on but still.

Most likely. Arcee is shown to have super shiny plastic on the insert as well, but the actual toy isn't anywhere near that shiny, even though it does have some metal flake in the plastic.

I'm not entirely surprised, some of the shots for Soundwave made it look a lot lighter than it is.

They got rid of all the windows and headlight details on bulkhead but painted his rims instead??? I don't understand any of these choices

FYI this toy review site tends to use a more brighter light source than usual in almost all of his pics posted, and thus the colors appear more washed out and pale. Nice pics, thou. the pair of AM-10 and AM-11 will arrive early next month for me!

Hm. So Bulkhead wields B.H. like a pistol, instead of it integrating into one of his arms? That's... not what I was hoping for. Will have to see if a single release version of the Micron is compatible to FE bulkhead like his standard wrecking ball.

These look pretty bad IMO. Poor Bulkhead looks like a Cyberverse figure....except the Cyberverse version may have more paint details.

well, FML for being a Prime toyline aficionado, I'm still committing to getting these even more so for the stickers!- I know!- and Arms Microns.

Haha, well I have to say I still enjoy the Takara deluxes. The Terricon Cliffy I got a few weeks ago is awesome. That figure looks great without paint apps or stickers. I also have a AM vehicon, Jet Vehicon, and Gaia Unicron on preorder. AM kits are super cool too. So yea, I'm in the same boat.

I sooo wish the US version of Bulk got the silve rims. Otherwise - wow that looks plain sans stickers.

Totally not jealous of Japan's TF line up; sure the Microns looked cool in the beginning, but now the gimmick is compromising. The sticker application looks tedious and cheap.

Only Takara figure that concerns me right now is Jet Vehic..... Oops, wrong thread.

For collectors, sure, but I'd wager good money that they are better "toys".

I'm pleased they painted Bulkheads wheels the factory finish on them will likely be better and more durable than a home painted one - where as windows are not hard to paint if you want to do so instead of using the stickers.

Windows will be much harder to do an even-looking coat on than rims. Windows will also run a much greater risk of getting scratched or rubbed than rims. I think you have the situation exactly backwards.

How do we know the blue is different? There are no comparison shots. It could be the same or it could be slightly different. Until we get comparison shots I don't know how people are just assuming. I mean so many pictures can look so different.

It's pretty stunning how terrible Arms Micron line looks unstickered.

We can look at the hasbro figure in our hand, and then at the screen.

Every photo of the thing so far has shown a darker blue than the hasbro figure.

Really? Cause I can show you some pics of PRID Arcee that don't look as light as some others. It all depends on the Camera and the editing. Go look at Ben Yee's pics.. they don't look nearly as bright blue as I've seen other places.

Heck my figure right here next to me look like a not so light color. It looks nice and normal. I take it out into a brighter light up (sunlight, lights etc) room to take pictures and it looks lighter. I look on my camera and it again looks different. So yeah.

I'm not saying it's not darker. I'm saying we have no idea at all for sure because there is no Side by Side comparison shots. Yet everyone is going around saying it looks like a better blue. But we don't know for sure. Like I said go look at Ben's pics. It almost looks similar to the blue here.

Which since my order shipped today if I get mine and no one has put up a comparison shot I'll do it when I get it. But it might take a week, by then someone will probably have beat me to it.

Stickers have play-value. Building the Arms Microns has play value. That added play value makes them better "toys" IMHO. I just don't want them myself.

atleast the swords for wheeljack are translucent...makes them look like energon weapons.

Besides Arcee's shade of blue, Hasbro's versions are still superior IMO.

Not really. You don't play with stickers. You spend 5-10 minutes putting them on, and then the next 10 years watching them be lumpy and peel off. That's not playing.

Another 5-10 minutes of "play". And when you subtract the "play value" of the missing regular weapons, it probably comes out about even.

I agree. I don't even see what the big deal about the PRID versions blue is. Yes it's not as dark as it could be but it's actually not that bad at all. In fact the FE ends up being too dark. In the show when she is out in the desert you can really see the blue is not as dark as the FE is. However indoors or nighttime is does look darker.

Also what the hell is up with Arcee's back light? Why is it so damn huge? It's only supposed to be small lights. (3). Not this huge ass big light like that. I almost want to say the sticker was put on wrong and only the two side little triangles was supposed to be put on not the big center square...

Yeah... but that is a pretty big "goof". You can even see the back (3rd) light indent in the mold where another light is supposed to go. It goes along with the other two triangles. Not this whole big ass square thing... meh. I'll just cut mine out probably.

I gotta say, back light aside, those stickers were applied pretty flawlessly, and look great on her. Same with Bulkhead. Either Alfes is better than most at applying stickers or these stickers aren't as bad as we thought. Probably the former.

I think they are way too shiny. It doesn't look so bad for the pink but for her waist section and stuff... when the darker colors are being reflected back into the silver and makes the whole thing looking dark... it's weird. Of course this could just be in photo's. It could be ok in real life. I'll have to wait and see.

The stickers still look.. eh... like the one on her front bumper? It's so obvious it's a sticker. It doesn't look that good at all... BUT, at the same time ones like on her legs the pink highlights do look nice. So yeah...

ugh.. there are mixed feelings about these. Some stuff looks good and is done nicely or is at least ok.. and other stuff? Makes you want to go... ugh.. wtf were they thinking...

Great... Takara took the sad RiD versions... and made them worse. And gave you a minicon model kit to make up for it?
