For day 2 of our countdown to “Transformers Friday”, we draw your attention to another gallery by SydneyY. This time the spotlight falls upon Dark of the Moon Sideswipe, an excellent and fun little toy. Sideswipe first appeared in Revenge of the Fallen for the conclusion of the pulse-pounding Shanghai action sequence, and his main part in Dark of the Moon is to fight against the Dreads with Ironhide in the standout set piece “Mexican Standoff” scene. His toy reflects the new look his vehicle mode gets for Dark of the Moon with the open convertible roof, which has a pleasing side effect of minimising the car parts backpack on the actual toy. Great poseability round out this figure, and really the only fault is he lacks the gorgeous silver finish of the Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe.

Dark of the Moon Deluxe Class SideswipeOf course, if you missed out on Sideswipe, there’s his extremely handsome looking redeco with a new head named Darksteel coming down the pipeline very soon…

Agree. I'd be all over a decent repaint. Didn't buy the mold because of the colours and the lack of character.
RedAlert Rescue
I say this all the time – but why oh why Hasbro couldn't you repaint Skyhammer like once, instead of Optimus several times, as even if one wants to be generous – That Optimus is not really that great and I feel slightly ripped off every time I contemplate rebuying it again..
NFossil
Would be even better if he has a rotation on the thigh instead of the shin… Considering how he transforms, I can understand why that wasn't possible.
Burnout
That Skyhammer is the best voyager of DOTM (namely cause it more of a TF Classics/generations than movie toy) next to Shockwave. they are the only Voyagers i have gotten..hell the only movie toys i have aside from the wreckers and the upcoming Ultimate Optimus.
RedAlert Rescue
He's a darn sight better than Optimus or Megatron or Voyager Sentinel in my view.

One more Dark of the Moon gallery for you today
Dark of the Moon Voyager Skyhammer
I personally really love this toy. He's a lot of fun to play about with, and he's a good, solid Voyager. One of the good ones IMO.

I'm going to do what I usually do with DVD's and Buy them for a £1.00 in Cash Converters. Dark of the Moon is no exception I might squeeze to £3.00 if I see the 2 disc.
Not payng anywhere near £10.00 or £20.00 for something i'll probably watch once or twice.
I've still only seen the 1st Movie twice. and ROTF once. and the only reason I saw the 1st one twice was it was ON TV and I thought it would be fun to tweet along to it – so I might do the same with ROTF for a giggle.
Anyway I got distracted what I was actually going to say was "Has anyone actually seen any American leader stock in the UK for under £40.00 each"
I'd pay a slight premium for the full speech on Ironhide & Sentinel but I really don't want a vocally Castrated toy even at sale price.
It's not so bad once you have one example that talks properly like with Optimus to own a castrated one – but its slightly vexxing to own a Leader Jetfire that only says "Jetfire" even though he was only £9.99 I still feel a bit ripped off.
Especially as I'd quite like two so I can keep one welded to an Optimus (since there's so many of the darn thing i'm sure I can spare one to stay attached to him).. but I just feel that if I wanted another i'd want an American one.
I just hope TK Maxx or Tesco or TRU actually get some American Leaders sometimes or then end up on super clearance as otherwise toys that just says "Ironhide" & "Sentinel Prime" are not going to be something i'm gong to easily fall in love with.

I haven't actually watched either disc yet, but I do know that the special features, IE Behind the scenes, bloopers, storyboards and ark sketches.
I will be watching both discs hopefully tomorrow so I'll be sure to report my findings, unless anyone else watches it before me.

Does that mean there ISN'T 3 extra minutes added to the film? Is you're sthe Wal-Mart version or just the regular release?

$17.99 for a BR combo pack? Wow they are $24.99 in Canada. I really do envy American prices.

that sentinel looks so much more 'red-er'
its looks better than the actuall colour

The final gallery in our countdown needed to be something special. Not just a great gallery, but a major character in the film. They don't much more major than the big villain himself:
Sentinel Prime (Leader) – Dark of the Moon Autobots – TFW2005.COM
Stay tuned for more cool stuff! We might have one or two more surprises coming in very soon…
UNICRON-WMD
Nope, it is a typo on their website. Both of Walmart's BDs are only 154mins. So they are overpriced for no reason. Go to bestbuy and get the BD combo for $17.99.

Has it been confirmed that ONLY Wal-Mart will have the 3 extra minutes? Some else here said ALL versions will have the extra 3 minutes–many only line stores show the running time to be 157 minutes too, so…
WuLongTi
No video release store exclusives this time like there were w/ the other 2 movies? that seems odd.
