Wal*mart Power of the Primes Transformers: Dark of the Moon Campaign

Wal*mart.com has updated their website with their Power of the Primes TRANSFORMERS Campaign promoting their Transformers: Dark Of The Moon product offerings.

This campaign update features not only their selection of TRANSFORMERS toys, but also other TRANSFORMERS merchandise such as video games, apparel, movies, music, and home decor!

A careful eye will also note on the Wal*mart Power of the Primes home page that this campaign's TRANSFORMERS logo shows an image of a planet nearby the Moon. This is the same thing in the skies of Chicago in one of the movie trailers.

This Wal*mart campaign is also confirmed by our own TFW2005.com member, seaspray10, who reports that his local Wal*mart has updated their toy isle with "Power of the Primes" display!

"Power of the Primes" makes me think of the Thirteen...I'm going to be highly disappointed, I'm sure.

No signs in our local walmart(s), probably never will be, we are lucky if the toy section of our largest one is not a flaming wreck most of the time. seriously that section manager has sense of decorum..

I'll believe that, after I've watched TF DOTM.

Something tells me there's more to it than that, Sentinel Prime is Optimus' mentor.

A couple of us here in TN were talking about our WM's having the front display with this for about 2 weeks now..and yep, they had the Power of the Primes on one section. Obviously they had the Leaders, voyagers & deluxes..as well as the revving robots, legion size too. The other sections included sleep sets, tshirts, flip flops, pillows, sheet sets, window curtains, all the booklets for DOTM and tons of ROTF DVD sets and Wii ROTF games.
It's a movie promo section..they've had them before for the previous movies.

ORIO..to answer your question, depends on the size of the WM and how much space they dedicate to DOTM promo section..Mine has an Optimus and Sentinel above the section..Also a Bee too.

Saw this in Panama City Beach a few weeks ago. They had papers for the employees to stock the area with, just clothes and cyberverse, nothing spectacular.

i would put spoiler warnings on this. even though it's in the trailers, it's tough to discern.. i personally don't mind, but i know some people on here get very angry over stuff like this.

anyways. i really wish they had real human alliance figures on these displays. i'm in dire need of a roadbuster.. hopefully i'll come across him before the movie, or on my way home from the movies lol.

I don't think that's Cybertron. If you remember from the first movie what Cybertron loooked like, I think that might be (possible spoiler, who knows)....Unicron.

The majority of Walmarts should have their signing up for POTP by now. However the non-Supercenters will not have these displays. It is a very nice display of Transformers items.

I hate to break it to you but its true. I broke down and read the comic adaption at my local walmart to see how close the guy that wrote the novel summary was with adaption. Oh and i do agree with MOU reference....I can see it in the colors. Looks like I will be getting a leaderclass Sentinel Prime after all.

I've seen a Power of the Primes sign up at Walmart with Optimus and Sentinel on either side of it for a few weeks. It's got pillows with Optimus and Bee on them under it.

If anyone is wondering, while I was working at Walmart, they had an article in their employee magazine detailing the Power of the Primes promotion. Supposedly, Walmart has an EXCLUSIVE deal in place with Hasbro in regards to using Sentinel Prime in their advertising.

So you won't see giant pictures or cutouts of Sentinel ANYWHERE else other than Walmart.
