The Transformers Ride info continues to roll in! Tonight we have a youtube video, courtesy of youtube user, BIGBEARSG. This video is a full walkthrough of the que area, where fans will get to wait in line to experience the ride. In this video you get to see each room, plus nearly all the pre-show videos which help tell the story of the Transformers universe. Ironhide, Rachet, Wheelie, Optimus, and EVAC all join in to tell the story. Which means this ride takes place right after Revenge of The Fallen, despite some footage from Dark Of The Moon being shown. You also see the gift shop and cafe that were built near the exit as well as a quick look at the EVAC ride vehicles in action.

This surely is an exciting time to be a Transformers fan. Seldom do we get to experience something that actually puts us inside the Transformers Universe. The Transformers Ride at Resorts World Sentosa in Universal Studios Singapore will open on December 3rd.

I'm tempted to send a message to the person that filmed the video saying just that haha.

"decepticon sideways" -shows picture of sideswipe- FUUUUUUUUUUU
Grimlockimus
....I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed this but..

Sideswipe model for Sideways.

How do you even mix that up?

This is why you don't include characters with very similar names. Even when they look completely different, people will get confused and mistakes will be made.

EDIT: I think Ironhide has more lines here then he did in all three movies combined.

Tecnically, Que does make a cameo in this ride, So does Dino, Mudflap and Skids in 8:26.
Barricade24
They confused Sideways's CGI with Sideswipe's.
Auto Morph
That really does look awesome.

So sad, but so true!

When this opens in the California Universal Studios I hope it looks as great as this one!

Also: Hearken! There be a Morshower in the pre-ride video!

And, is it just me but does Optimus' voice sound slightly different? Is that actually Cullen?

Wow! This is freaking bad ass. Love all the detail. They even have skorponok's tail. And as far as I can tell, they got back all the voice actor's for this. Ironhide ratchet and wheelie sound just the same. The only one I had trouble hearing was prime. Could not say 100% that was Cullen. Sounded like him, just can't be sure.

Can't wait to see this thing state side

Ironhide is love, just saying.

That's precisely why he should have been given more love in the movies! You know, more lines and less getting shot in the back and rusting away.
The Crazy Collector
I think I could spend a fair amount of cash in that gift shop at the end!
Shadow25
Optimus is indeed Cullen here, but it seems they're using vocal processing more akin to the first film which makes his voice much deeper (compared to the voice heard in the sequels and in Prime).
NIBMRatchet
I love it how Ironhide casually insulted the entire Human race. Love ya, buddy! Rest-In-Peace!

Sideswipe-Sideways mixup I see.

Ah, that would make more sense and certainly explains those odd reverberations you can make out in the video.
Dinobot747
Decepticon Sideswipe FAIL.

The word you guys are looking for for the news article is "queue". "Que" is a Spanish expression of surprise, and is pronounced more like "kay".
FanimusMaximus
You know it's bad when Ironhide and Ratchet have more dialogue in the Ride the the actual movie.

Honestly, that was my first response. "Woo! Information on Que! A'ight!"

You may not ride this ride if you are prone to giddiness No laughing on the ride folks.

That giftshop is like a lil piece of heaven. T///////////////////////////////////T

Thank you so much for the video!

-Ironhide?!!?!?! Yeah! And Jess Harnell voices him once again! That was a great scene with him. Very Ironhide-like. Gruff, grizzled, grumpy.

-"...your human military is colossally mismatched against our Decepticon enemies." Good one, Ironhide. It sure doesn't appear that way in the movies.

-Sounds like Foxworth is back as Ratchet too.

-And Tom Kenny as Wheelie.

-As for Optimus...he doesn't sound as much like Peter Cullen as I thought. They seemed to go for the more enhanced/modified voice that they had in the first film, rather than the more o-naturale Cullen in RotF and DotM.

- at "Decepticon Sideways" being Sideswipe.

That looked so cool. If only we got to see that much of Ironhide and Ratchet in the movies, though.
jgoss
awesome vid love it! ironhide and ratchet where great as for optimus it didn't sound like mr.cullen. hope when it comes to california it's the same.

Sideswipe Is a Decepticon? Failure.
Didn't they spend months on this ride to know the difference? I guess Bay had nothing to do with it then.
Jazzfan0217
i love ironhide. "Don't give me any lip!, and we might just get along." and insulting the human race ... . he was great. atleast they did put him in the ride.
GFH
Giggled throughout the entire video, especially the part where one is informed of how many humans Evac can carry, I just can't take this ride seriously.

He did. That's the reason Sideways is Sideswipe. It's amazing. Even though both have been around since 2009, he still fucked them up.
TylerMirage
I still can't get over how much I love Foxworth's voice as Ratchet. I just think he makes an amazing live-action Ratchet. The extreme amount of character he was able to show with his face and his voice in that short clip was more than what we got in the trilogy. Shame.

I want to celebrate my 21st birthday there. Yes I do.

Ironhide called Devastator a deranged vacuum cleaner.

Precaution for giddiness? How can any Transfan resist walking through THAT?

Absolutely.... Loved him so much in this.

I love that poor Ironhide and Ratchet get more lines here then they do in all the films. Also digging the motion capture for the 'bots. Makes me want them to do an expansion and give the other characters like Dino or Soundwave more spotlight!

To quote Liz Lemon "I want to go There". Still no word yet on Florida getting it yet? Would be lot cheaper to get there for me, heck would be cheaper if they did a Universal Studios in Europe

Just Hollywood and Singapore, and maybe Japan in 5 years or so.

At least you know your French. "Queue" means "tail" (in Spanish it's "cola", which also means "tail"), but it is used in English as "waiting line". Your Spanish? Not so much. "Que" translates to "what" or "that". When an English-speaking person is surprised or confused, he/she may ask "what?", likewise a Spanish-speaking person may ask "¿que?". When used to start a question it means "what", otherwise it's "that". As in: Aprendí que "que" no es solamente una expresión de sorpresa. (I learned that "que" is not only an expression of surprise).

The queue area looks pretty standard: intro to ride story, character in action pose, some character related objects/body parts, and some generic command base ambiance. I really don't care for the queue area, since no matter how cool it looks initially, you'll hate it after 1/2 hour of staring at it when you're stuck in line. The ride is what counts.

It means the same thing in French.

But a good queue sets up the story and atmosphere. One of the best examples of this may be Finding Nemo at WDW. The one in the video may use the basic formula but at least it's better themed than some queues I've been in where it's a basically a couple of posters on drywall.

The Sideways/Sideswipe problem reminded me of those ROTF trading cards that had Sideswipe marked as a decepticon. Even gave him a bio to match.

Good to know that it's superior to some of the ones you've seen. Based on the ones i've seen, it still feels mediocre. Probably because, as i stated before, i care more about the ride than the set up.

Even that is light example. Look up the queue for Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom, or Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland. Those queues not only build up the environment and take you away, but successfully tell a story. The TF: The Ride's queue looks great and I would disagree with you 100% that the ride portion of any big budget ride is all that matters.

i could tell it is peter cullen voicing optimus prime.

Same here in regards to Ratchet and Ironhide..who's quote is bound to be sigged!!

Only thing at least to me, it sounded like IF it was Peter Cullen's Optimus, then they recorded him at the wrong speed..kidding..but he certainly didn't sound the same as the movies, which was a shame, maybe that will be corrected for the USA version....oh well...the rest of the ride and the merchandising looks fantastic!!

Well, it seems like they were trying to make his voice sound the way it did in the first movie. Much, much deeper. It's definitely Cullen, though. I'm 100% sure of it.

The entrance with Bumblebee on top sure looks cool
