Transformers Movie Series Asia Exclusive Leader Brawl First Image

The Transformers Asia Facebook page has followed up on their previous tease of a new release in the Asia Premium Series of Movie toys with a picture confirming the APS-2 will be a redeco of Leader Class Decepticon Brawl. The picture though is a total tease using inverted colors, preventing anyone from getting a proper look at the toy.

Fear not though, because through the magic of Photoshop, Singapore Transformers Fan Group Planet Iacon have removed most of the photoshopping to reveal what this new Leader Brawl might actually look like. As with the Striker Optimus Prime, this Leader Brawl takes the 2007 Leader mold and gives it a full-on Premium Series redeco.

If official, non-photoshop tease images are released by Transformers Asia look vastly different to this we will update you here. For now, enjoy this first look at Decepticon Brawl's premium deco.

What are they going to do with this? Original colorscheme was already pretty accurate. A more G1-y repaint maybe? Something else entirely?

For the Fact its in the APS-Series (Premium) it will be a Metallic and weathered Look.

I really hope they don't do the shit, they did on Starscream and Ironhide....

They haven't really broken their hearts on United Bruticus, the Seeker reissues, or the Striker Prime redeco.

So i'm not expecting too much from this.

Beyond which i got Brawl on the cheap last year, so i'm not inclined to pay for another one.

A really sweet looking Brawl would be awesome. With the lack of Leader class Transformers lately, I'd love a good toy with some ratchet-y joints love.

Sweet! So glad I decided to hold off on getting Brawl from the aftermarket! Bring him on, plus Ironhide and Sentinel Prime too!

Well, Ironhide, Starscream and ROTF Megatron were recently released in redecos (sporting odd paint jobs though Megs did look kind of cool in black and purple), so I doubt we'll be seeing them anytime soon in the APS line. My guess is Bumblebee, Sentinel Prime, or possibly Jetfire (even if he saw a re-release under the DOTM line with the Buster Prime 2-pack) may be next in line for APS-03 if they're doing alternating bot-con-bot releases.

Really excited for Brawl though. My Cons display has a huge hole in it that Brawl would do an excellent job of filling.

^ Probably just as much, lol. But at least this version should (theoretically) come with better paint apps, possibly of the metallic and chrome variety if APS-01 is anything to go by.

I still have (and love) my 2007 Brawl, but he is pretty beat up, so if he's sufficiently different I might consider it. He's one of the best Transformers I have, and definitely the best of the 2007 line!

Oh man, the Asia Premium series tickles me in a way I love. Get Sentinel a new paint job and I might be tempted to buy him again.

Kinda makes me want to dig my Brawl out. Shelf space here is very limited and I haven't unpacked him since we moved.

I'm no fan of the movie toys. At all.

But a friend of mine has the Leader Class Brawl, and man. He is awesome. (Except for the head gimmick and the lights never consistently working).

I may have to get this. I just love this mold.

I'm glad I have both decos of brawl, I think is a good chance for those who miss the original, just make me wonder what will be the chrome part on this figure. Takara is doing a lot of goodies lately, I will love to see their kit model of megatron.

I wonder if we'll eventually get a new RotF Leader Megatron that actually looks like his box art...

If they'd fix his non-elbowed arm, I'd be all over that actually.

That's the secondary market prices for Brawl dropping to the floor. I wonder how many of the first movie Brawls we'll see put up ASAP before news of this becomes widespread.

I think changing him from a light green color to a darker shade is the main improvement. My perfect Brawl would have been the Leader sized figure with the Deluxe class paint job, which is what I hope this will be.

Hell yes. I wasn't open enough to Movie toys back when he came out and have been kicking myself for skipping him ever since. Can't wait to see what he looks like.

That's wonderful. Brawl is the best of the 2007 Leader molds. I'm glad people can get a chance to own him again.

What was the point of blurring out the letters when it is so obvious. The retail price of thsi will be about the same as the market price of the 2007 version. I wonder if they will remold anything. I am buying this too.

I agree making it in Dark green (with less pronounced Transparent parts) would be super nice - but if they decide to go bonkers with the colours I'd not be to bothered is it was a medium Blue instead like the 3rd Botshot version is, as that could then be a nice Movie Tankor too. He'd also look nice in urban dark grey deco too. Not sure i'd want to pay £100.00 for him though unless the deco really is super nice and they have fixed any little quality control quirks.

Was he the best, or just the only one who hasn't been improved (and is therefore still meaningful)?

I'm not sure if I think he's actually better than TF 1 Prime or not.

He is worth having though.

Brawl is one of the best leader figs of all time, top three IMO with rotf prime and ss.

Can't wait to see how this turns out I miss this mold!

I'd only buy this if they tooled a new weapon concept for him like striker Optimus. Not going to be interested in another recolor of this mold, as I'm happy with the the original and Allspark Desert Brawl.
Which Ironically enough I only recently pulled out of the box again to display fighting Amazon Jetwing Prime.

Can't wait to see what they come out with! I only collect the movie lines and I might as well own 2 brawls lol. I already have 3 of the first movie primes lol there better be some extra weapons as I'm not dropping 2 bills for a repaint!

The price of the Leader class Brawl is so high nowadays. TakTomy may have choosen the right time to reissue this for those whom did not get them previously
