We are on only a month away from US Toy Fair 2014. But there is another Toy Fair which is just 10 Days Away. And that is the UK Toy Fair 2014. We just received a word that Transformers: Age Of Extinction Toys and Licensed Merchandise will make an appearance at the Show Floor.
Jay Duke, VP Global Transformers Brand Marketing says “The Transformers brand brings all new ways to be entertained and engage with the brand. Transformers: Age Of Extinction will do this, as Michael Bay outlines with an all new storyline. With a new movie, kids and fans can anticipate an innovative new product line and a variety of entertainment experiences”.
Some of the items are:
- Transformers: Age Of Extinction Toys
- Transformers 4 Figurines
- Transformers: Age Of Extinction Costumes
- Transformers: Age Of Extinction Board Games
- Transformers 4 Bicycles
- Transformers 30th Anniversary Toys & Merchandise
Also, there is a hint stating that there will be 15+ robot characters in Transformers: Age Of Extinction (ah, I got your attention now, don’t I?)
We have a very detailed report ready for you. Find out about all this and more after the jump.
If you are living in UK and is a subscriber to the famous Toy News Magazine, chances are that your 2014 January edition is already with you. Hasbro UK; being one of the main sponsors of London Toy Fair has reserved this month’s Cover Page and quite a lot of tidbits are inside, teasing us of their presence at this year’s Toy Fair in Kensington Olympia.
The Toy News Magazine not only conveniently list down all the companies that will have stalls at the London Toy Fair but also gives us a heads-up on what we will see at other Toy Fairs around Europe this year. Since Michael Bay‘s Transformers: Age Of Extinction is releasing this year, one of the key highlights at the shows are Transformers 4 Toys and Licensed Merchandise.
Yes, according to the magazine, Transformers: Age Of Extinction toys will be there at the show floor on 21st January, courtesy of Hasbro UK. You will get a sneak peek of AOE Toys if you visit Gallery 620. Not only that, there will also be 30th Anniversary figures as well.
MV Sports is ready to show their Transformers brand Bicycles at Stall B30.
Winning Moves is there with Transformers 4 board games at Stall D17 which includes their famous game; Top Trumps.
2014 Paladone Products Transformers Figurine Collection will make its debut at Gallery 145 with 30th Anniversary and Transformers: Age Of Extinction figurines. With a total of 30 characters, the line is separated with 15 characters each for 30th Anniversary and Transformers 4 (well, that certainly gave us a general idea on how many robot characters there are in the movie. *nudge* *nudge* *wink* *wink* ) For more info, check out the scan from the magazine below.
IMC Toys will be there at stall E129. IMC is known for their plush toys as well as electronic radio controlled toys. They have recently acquired Transformers Brand License for 2014. The company says that they will have Transformers 4 Walkie-Talkies, Play Sets and R/C Cars to be showcased during the event.
Cartamundi has also acquired license this year to manufacture Card Games based on the Transformers Franchise.
Moving on from London Toy Fair to other Toy Shows around Europe…
When it comes to Costumes based on the Transformers Franchise, there is a name that shines above all others… and that is “Rubie’s“. For the year 2014 Rubies has acquired license to manufacture Children’s costumes based on Transformers: Age Of Extinction. According to them, they have Optimus Prime and Bumblebee costumes ready to be showcased during Spring Fair International and Nürnberg: Spielwarenmesse 2014 on 2nd February and 29th January respectively.
HTI Group will also be there at Spielwarenmesse 2014 showing off their Transformers: Age Of Extinction themed Bicycles, Scooters and Role Play items.
Character World stall can be found inside Hall 4 of Spielwarenmesse 2014 with Transformers 4 merchandise such as bedroom furniture and bathroom items.

Jeez, people. Patience. We MIGHT hear some stuff later today (I doubt it), but the real deal will be at NY Toy Fair.

Isn't any fan amongst the attendees who'd post the news here anonymously?
Seriously, with news like "TF will be the main attraction of Toyfair" I'd expect more news than just a racetrack set.
Sigh… I miss the chinese factory leaks.

Me too, could care less about the. Movie stuff

Honestly, I'm hoping that, if pictures aren't allowed, we *don't* see any leaked photos. I remember when pics of HFTD Starscream got leaked from Botcon or some other convention, and then the next big one (that usually had tons of reveal, I believe SDCC but I can't recall for sure) had almost no reveals aside from a few things like repaints and stuff we already knew was coming. We already know they read the internet over there at Hasbro- case in point being stuff like JaAm license plates- so we may as well not mess with them

In general, expect absolutely nothing to be shared from the London event and you won't be disappointed.

I think people may be getting their hopes up a tad too much, but hey, I'd love to be wrong…
