TFW2005 is proud to bring you the first ever look at the Transformers Movie Bumblebee Mr. Potato Head toy. Currently, this officially licensed piece will be a promotional item exclusive to the UK and will be available in 2009.

The Bumblebee Potato Head was designed by our very own Jeff Englert (TFW username: Primus) and the prototype can be seen at the TFW2005 booth at BotCon on Sunday!

Considering that all of the other cross promotional Potato Heads have had "potato related" names (Darth Tater, Optosmash prime, Idaho Spud), what's Bumble-bee's tater name? BakedBee?

If I could get one.... maybe I'd pimp him out with some gold trim and call him GoldSpud!

Why? It's not like Optimash went flying off the shelves. my local TRUs had a crapload and now are on clearance for half off.

Probably one of the reaons it's a UK exclusive, fewer need to be made as it's a smaller market, and generally we pay more for TF related stuff...

Hey guys. Thanks for the comments. Just realize that this isn't a full size item and is meant as a promotional item. It will be bundled with a non-TF item. For what it is, I'm very happy with it.

The internal name we are using is Bumblespud but I don't know what the final word on that will be.
