We have learned, from speaking with Hasbro staff briefly at Botcon 2014, that some versions of the Decepticon Stinger toy for the Age of Extinction toyline might be exclusive to Wal-Mart.
When asked following the Hasbro product reveal panel on Saturday about the lack of an appearance by Stinger in the presentation, we were told that:
“We’ve got some store exclusive releases lined up for Stinger with Wal-Mart, we should be able to show more at the Comic Con”
While it’s not a concrete confirmation that the Generations AoE Stinger is going to Wal-Mart, it would explain why we’ve not seen a whole lot of him in advance retailer listings for the Age of Extinction Generations toys yet. Likewise it would also seem to explain why the Age of Extinction Power Battlers waves seen so far lack a Stinger.
Hopefully, we should have more information for you following the San Diego Comic Con.

Maybe, all I read was bumblebee and stinger scene pack, at first I was thinking high octane bumblebee and deluxe stinger, but all of the pics show the cyber verse two pack with strafe.
eagc7
the cyberverse set pack
Daimao
Hmmm, must have missed that. Unless its the scene pack with Strafe?
megatroptimus
Which size class? Cyberverse again?
Fallout
the deluxe? were there pics?
Sol Fury
Stinger is in a two pack with Bumblebee. Walmart exclusive, confirmed at SDCC
Lazerwave
What ever happened to this?
Afterburner
It is a very nice car mode, maybe the best of the movies so far. But that robot mode…
Prime135
What? Why would you want a non-generations stinger? Do you like the one step/ power battlers or something?
TCJJ
As long as they're not Generations figures, that's fine.
Scratch that: as long as they make it to Japan, that's fine. That's the only way I can afford to get them, anyway.

If an AOE deluxe Stinger is a Walmart exclusive I'm fine with it.
TRU exclusives are the hard ones for me to get, TRU is very far away from my house. And I don't like to order toys online anymore.
Anguirus
Whoa. Stinger is Wal-Mart's Silver Knight Prime.
Prime135
From what we've seen, I think he's supposed to be an improved version of bumblebee made of a new kind of metal.
FanimusMaximus
Just hope we at least get a deluxe.
Grimwing
So this is just speculation. But is stinger a evil bumblebee clone? By the human organization that makes Galvatron?
It kind of just looks like bumblebees model in red. And the name is kind of a pun for bumblebees rival at least.

I dunno why people keep wondering if the deluxe will just be a repaint of Bumblebee. The one step has a completely different mould (thats not even a re-tool) so it's pretty likely that the Generations figure will be a different mould too.
Fallout
kind of hoping it is just a red camaro…
Ribieconvoy
Between Leadfoot, Mirage, and now Stinger, Hasbro seems to have a difficult time getting the fast red car autobots out there on the market for everyone
Prime135
And wal-mart is much better about stocking exclusives than saaaay target.
"Cough leadfoot cough"
Autovolt 127
I guess after seeing Target own Leadfoot, Hasbro wanted their own Transformers mascot.
So what if Stinger is a Wal-Mart exclusive. It doesn't matter….besides we're more likely to have a Wal-Mart nearby than a Target or TRU.
