Just looks like regular Taktom Jetfire but cant really tell as the pic is only about 3cm wide and I cant get the bloody thing to load, I can email it to someone else in an excel sheet if needs be so they can have a go ?

Well, it could just be Buster Prime with the regular leader Prime non-transforming fuel tanks.

The package definately says Buster Optimus Prime, but it's also a TakaraTomy release

Hopefully just a placeholder for a Hasbro release.

Whoah, cool. Sucks that Optimus apparently doesn't have his gun, though.

If Prime is without without the gun and just paired with a regular Jetfire, I really don't see the point.

It definitely says buster Optimus, but the picture next to it is not the same as Buster and Optimus has a faceplate.

I definitely want Buster Optimus Prime and have thought about getting a second Jetfire for jet mode. I wonder what the price point is? Because Jetfire can be had for $35.00 easy nowadays.

Are we sure Jetfire didn't get the same treatment as Buster Prime? He looks ALOT different when I compare mine to the picture.

So, it's basically a Premium RotF Optimus Prime plus Jetfire?

I'll be honest: with Prime and Jetfire being so cheap at the local Wal-Mart, I've been considering picking a pair up so I can have Prime, Jetfire, and Power Up Prime.

If they come out with this stateside, I'm sold. My Prime will get powered up, and that Prime will go on the shelf.

I might be down for this after getting Bludgeon.

I can't help but wonder if there is some kind of non-disclosure deal between Hasbro and Takara. Like one won't say if they'll put out a certain figure until the other gets to milk it first.

Otherwise why the hell can't Hasbro tell us if we're getting this version of Prime at all or not? There are no national secrets here we've already seen it, a simple yes or no will do.

So this looks like this Prime may be a ROTF leader class prime chromed out with out the gun feature of the buster prime? If this is true,this will be the 4th version of this mold in the same line. Geez mon... HasTak(Mainly Takara) is trying to milk the heck out of this mold for all it's worth. And I'm sure this is another dent to some of you Prime completists wallet.

You could have seen this coming from Takara. Hopefully it's Buster Prime and some chrome and little color changes for Jetfire. I like gift sets so...

Takara hasn't done a giftset like this since Sonic Bomber and Galaxy Convoy, so it's been a while but that's the last time there was a Prime & someone else that combined.

Jetfire definitely looks to be lacking any blue, with either very dark gray or black in place. Optimus is the Buster Prime version, but he looks to have the face plate to me. Hopefully he has the gun.

Actually it was Magna Convoy DX (Final Battle Prime, Clear Overload, and X-Dimension Street Action Team) before Sonic Bomber & Galaxy Convoy, but God Fire Convoy was before Magna Convoy DX.

take a look at the legs, they're darker, maybe, for a rust effect, also, they look a bit mettalic, the normal Jetfire also had white/gray details on shoulder and arms, where are those? it is maybe, a premium Jetfire, but it is just a suppose...

Oh yeah that's right, How can I forgot about that..... Thats the three gift set box I have which I haven't open nor will open in the forseable future. I apologize for going off on a tangent. Back to topic...

if this makes it to the states, it would make sense why I held off buying them seperately.

if this comes to the states and that buster prime has his gun and its not totally priced out of whack ill be all over it as ill use buster prime as my standard Prime and combine that jet fire with my Hasbro leader Prime to make and display power up prime

That's what I was thinking. What's the point of releasing a Buster Prime without his guns? It isn't like it would hinder the combining between the two figures since it was advertised to transform with Leader Jetfire anyways. And truck mode must look like shit since there are no gas tanks.

THINK indeed. Does it have to be separated from the back and combined AND held in place for it to be the buster gun? For all we know the gas tanks\guns are just stored in the back!

Ironically enough this news and picture came out just when I received my Buster Prime, but I'll get this one as well if Jetfire is decent.

Sadly, it lacks any passable packaging as it looks like ROTF Leader packaging blown up to accommodate two figures, nothing like the previous leader bundles.

Well, if that image is to be trusted, that Jetfire's got grey in place of blue, and really shiny knees (chrome?). And that sure looks like a Buster OP with faceplate. I've already got 3 versions of this mold and Jetfire, but I sure ain't gonna pass on an OP giftset. Not after I paid some crazy prices for the ones before this.
