We've previously seen pictures of the upcoming Transformers movie-universe Leader Class Starscream (coming out later this year in the new yellow box "Hunt for the Decepticons" series), but we thought you could never get enough of Megatron's treacherous second in command. So, with great thanks to 2005 Boards member Deceptigtar, we present to you the most comprehensive and high-resolution set of images so far of this cool upcoming addition to the movie series Decepticons. These new images show off all the fun little details on this toy, from the arm mounted chainguns, to the arm mounted missile launcher used to blow a chunk out of Hoover Dam in the first live action movie. Awesome review! Definitely gonna get this Starscream.

EDIT: Looked at the pics again and found something awesome about Starscream - his missle launcher weapon ends up on his back, and that looks like a thruster! It's not the double thursters seen in the movies, but it is something!

You know, he doesn't have boosters sitting on his back, but his engines DO end up on his back, so I suppose that is something.

This guy is a must get and, with Leader Prime, will be a centerpeice to my collection. I hope Megatron gets a good remold like this for the third movie (assuming his design doesn't change).

The gun can only hold one missile at a time.

I thought that was a bubblebath Prime for a second there! Wow, he makes Leader Prime look like a Novelty Bubblebath holder.... damn, he's so mine!

Seeing him stand next to Prime makes me definately want to pick Prime up again(sold him with most my other stuff), they just look perfect together. Sam looks pretty good scale wise but how does HA Bumblebee look standing next to Screamer?

Anyway Starscream is bought as soon as I get the chance, great job Hasbro!!

This is deffinately masterpiece-level sculpting and engineering. Shame that every silver/gray/tan colour they use is so transparent and cheap-looking. I will buy this figure on sight.

I wonder if Takara will release a redeco of this that is along the same lines as Buster Optimus Prime; Leader Starscream would be BOSS with "premium" paint apps.
Hoping for something like that will not prevent me from owning a couple of these, though. I have to agree with the "This = Masterpiece" opinion. It's not perfect, but then again neither is MP Starscream or MP Megatron. This (and Prime) are the best of the best in terms of movie toy design, and for $45 that's quite a bargain for the level of detail, accuracy, and engineering. And heck, they're just awesome toys!

This review actually makes me want this figure now. The pictures before kind of just left a big "meh" on me. The sculpt is awesome, paint sucks. Oh and I 2nd that request for a comparison with leader Megatron.

Just like a typical Peaugh review: Straight, no chaser, and exactly want you want.

I'm feenin' for this sucker more than ever, even though the paint leaves a bit to be desired. His scale looks about right, as I think he is supposed to be about the same height as Optimus.

Hopefully he won't be as hard to track down as Jetfire originally was.

This is the first time that a movie Starscream toy has jumped to the top of my want list.
That thing is gorgeous, Hasbro's finally starting to make the Leader class what its suppose to be.

I suppose, if people really want to see a Leader Screamer and Leader Megs together, someone could photoshop it, using a Leader Prime as a set up. I might see if I can do this later.
