The folks at Prime 1 Studio are teasing an upcoming release in their Transformers Movie Museum Masterline Series. To date they have only released two figures, Optimus Prime and Megatron, but they have an entire line planned, spanning all four Transformers movies. The image posted today shows a preview of Transformers Movie 2007 Jazz. We’ll update as more info becomes available.

I'm in for 3A's stuff (preordered DOTM Megatron with the exclusive hooded cloak from Bambaland with the quickness as he's my favorite iteration of the character) but Prime Studio's stuff are out of my price range as well as taking up way too much display real estate. They look awesome and I'll drool over them but I much prefer 3A's smaller, articulated figures even if they don't transform (passed on Bee but I'm looking forward to Optimus and hopefully Starscream, Shockwave, and Sentinel Prime if 3A makes them).

I wonder if the this can split into two?

"To get your attention, we bring you… Jazz's crotch!"

Oh that will be cool if that happens. How you did those videos was just really good. You went over so many details and showed them off really well. I also really like how you kept driving the point that these really are works of art.
Starscream is starting to be released though. At least through sideshow. They sent out their "early processing" e-mails/options. So some of them are shipping. (From sideshow. Have no idea about other sellers). But he's still in stock so it's not like he's sold out yet.

It HONESTLY will depend on what i'm able to find in terms of a new house. My wife and i are currently looking and hoping to be in during summer. Starscream comes out later, so if i can find a place that will give me an office the size that i would like, Starscream is a possibility.
Mewtwo
Aww… so no Starscream review? I really liked your Megatron and Prime reviews. They were very good and very informative. I will miss that there will be no Starscream review.

I love these statues, but do not have the space for all them, and the wife definitely wont let it get out of hand. It makes more sense for collectors, like myself, who do not actually play with the figures and usually keep them either MISB or just posed and never transformed more than once to the desired form. I do collect the Masterpiece line, but I don't play with the toy more than just to get it positioned in the display case as an homage to my childhood. They make great display 'statuettes' and look great in my office.
As much as the movies lacked storyline and what not, I personally thought the character designs were amazing. I purchased Optimus and it's an absolutely stunning piece in person and displays really well. With Bumblebee and Grimlock w/ the mini Optimus on order, I can't wait to have them displayed in the living area. Now the only thing I'm trying to swing by the wife is getting the Megatron to balance out Optimus haha, but that's gonna be a hard one.

Dat Jazz crotch.

I planned on stopping after Bumblebee, but i probably will get Jazz now. I thought about Starscream but not only is he tall, but with his arms spread out, he takes up a LOT of space. Beyond that, i didn't plan on getting anything from the AOE line

These things are beautiful, but sadly way, way out of my price range. Most expensive Transformers statue I will most likely ever own is my Palisades Arcee, lol.
rapid_fire
Would love to get these, but no way I can ever afford them. I can barely afford the main line toys which are basically free compared to these lol
Moy
Must be nice, are you planning on buying Optimus riding Grimlock?
harrismonkey
Pretty much. I'm hoping 3A doesn't go much beyond Shockwave for that reason (if he even happens). I can afford a couple of those, but if they keep making them it will be dangerous that I even let myself start.
At least with the Prime 1 I know they're pretty much just out of the question.
Optibotimus
I've bought Megatron, Optimus Prime and have Bumblebee preordered.
I can't express why other people might want them, but for me, i view them as pieces of art and center pieces when people walk into my office. They are instantly drawn to the biggest parts in my collection and these are it. I love the conversations that have been sparked with them. I wouldn't ever change my decision to buy them.
If you can afford them, why not? Just like whatever car you drive. If you can afford a nice one, why not? The cost is high, but as i've said time and time again with more expensive collectibles, options do exist to afford them. People think a PS4 is expensive, so they put it on lay away. You can do the same thing with the vast majority of these figures if bought from the places that offer that as an option
Moy
That's gotta be Jazz!
Sentinel
I justo can't figure out who is actually buying these things at $2K a pop. I suppose you could pick and choose your favorite character(s) but most people would want a few of them and that's the price of a car. Like everyone else, I'd love to have some of these, but damn, the cost…
iceburn9
Just checked out their Facebook page, and I'm drooling at every one of those statues.
It's like having the actual robots from the movies (if you overlook the disparity in size/scale). Unfortunately like most others here I can't afford them.
Perhaps if they did a RoTF Devastator I might take out a bank loan
Timothy.R
meh, i've never understood the reason for buying a statue.
i prefer 3A's highly detailed posable figures.. i wish 3A would give us some smaller more affordable figures. or hell, it'd be really cool if hot toys gave us some us some super accurate non transforming figures. their prime is okay, but i think the movie aesthetic would translate better with their talent.
YoungPrime
Wow…..so now they've got Autobots flashing d*** pics to the public.
Only in the Bay-verse. Guess their version of Devastator is next SMH.
PASS!

Does this new line mean "affordable" or "even more hella expensive"…?
