Prime 1 Studio have teased another Transformers themed statue on their Facebook page. While they’ve not said who this statue is of, fans of the Michael Bay directed live-action movies may recognize the bot in shot as none other than the Decepticon Shockwave, who brought terror to Chicago in Transformers Dark of the Moon.
We are informed this one will be a full sized statue. A possible prototype was shown off by a “Matrix Studios” at the 6th annual SGC Fanscon over the weekend – could it be a prototype of this or something else? Either way, there is a cool and undoubtedly expensive new statue coming our way sometime in 2015 of this Decepticon cyclops.

Oh now that is awesome.

Okay man lol.
I recently realised this, but why two companies working on it..?

Please don't make Lockdown…
I'll cry because I could never own him.
Especially if he's sculpted in his signature strut…

Lucky you…
I do…
…everything.
When i see the price for those statues, i think
my banker will put a bounty on me…

Oh shoot I forgot how much they were. No wonder I gave up looking at them. Envy the guys that get this one!

Wait… It says Matrix Studio. Not Prime 1 Studio. Is this Soundwave part of the same line as the other Prime 1 Studio statues? Like I said, the size looks much larger and I'm not seeing a Prime 1 logo anywhere?
Yeah, I don't think that shockwave prototype is a Prime 1 Studio Shockwave. And it was just placed next to a Prime 1 stuff for size comparison. I don't think the Prime 1 teaser is this same Shockwave prototype.

It's missing this.

Another beautiful statue from Prime 1, very impressive.

I completely agree.
It actually looks like the AOE Prime that comes with Grimlock would only be $200-$300 (I'm to lazy to go check) based off the difference between Grimlock with and without him. He's somewhere around leader class size (unsure if the base is counted in his height or not). He looks fantastic as well. I think I've ultimately decided I have no business getting Grimlock, but it's the only one I seriously considered because it looks like it would actually scale with my other higher end figures (and also as the only one at that scale I really would only be getting one).
I think there is a very real demand for these things at a smaller size and price point. I know I'd get a few. But just Megatron, Prime and Shockwave would probably run upwards of $6,000. Who can do that?

Holy Crap!
Prime 1 Studios is really knocking everything out of the park!
Moy
In the movies the characters are always made to fit certain shots, but Shockwave may be just a bit larger than Megatron.

I also want the very, very, very large amount of disposable income needed to afford everything they've made.
tonyformer
I don't know… Seems a bit too big in scale. There is no way Shockwave was that much larger than Megs.

If I will earn enough money in future 10 years – I will buy all their statues and will found TF museum in Russia!
Moy
Thanks man, I love how his scale is larger than Megatron. That's how big I always pictured him.
tonyformer
Ok… Can I get a blackout and barricade PLEASE!!
Um… But why is it larger than Megs? That statue is much larger than the Megs Prime 1 statue. It shouldn't be.

Looks phenomenal! Just wish they made these statues at the 12" size point with a much easier-to-swallow price tag to match. The price (and how much display shelf real estate they take up) is just too cost prohibitive for most fans to afford, myself included. Then again, maybe it's a good thing this line is out of my price range; my wallet already hates me.

I… don't… do…
… statues.
Ironhide1234
My god, I want all and everything they've made.
