Thai website Larckyray.com has uploaded a solicitation for a two pack featuring 2007 Movie Leader figures Optimus Prime and Megatron. An odd choice for a release, but these two figures were not widely available back in 2007 in Asia. These will most likely fall into the rumored All Star line for Asia. Retail price is about $210.00 US. No word yet if these two will feature different paint applications, if any at all.

Kaiyado has updated their website with some official photography for their upcoming Revoltech Movie Bumblebee. This awesome non-transforming figure is shown here in detail, illustrating all of his various features, including fold out shoulder mounted missile launchers, an interchangeable gun arm, alternate battlemasked head and two sets of hands - one set closed fists, and the others open. Of course as with all Kaiyado's various Revoltech releases Bumblebee will be able to strike a lot of cool poses.

2005 Board member, firehawc_69, recieved an e-mail earlier today from Universal Studios. For anyone with an annual members pass, you will get to experience Transformers the Ride early! On May 4th through the 6th, the Transformers Ride will have a sneak preview just for you! The ride will open for the public later in the month.

Back in last October we announced a “geo-social” game for Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, titled Battle Zone.

Sadly, the game is now officially closing. TF3 Battle Zone creator Project Zebra told us that “The War is Ending”


Battle Zone has come to the end of its life and will soon be terminated. Thanks for your support, we hope you enjoyed playing the game.

The good news is you can use your Battle Zone skills to take command of your own military force and dominate a new battlefield in the exciting new game Bunker Buster.

Thanks to 2005 Board member Starscream Gaga's Twitter feed, we have a scan of the Dark Of The Moon Deluxe Soundwave figure's instructions. These instructions show off what is an alternate head for the mold that could quite possibly be a movie version of Blaster. Bare in mind, the deluxe Soundwave figure has been canceled by Hasbro and won't be getting a release in the US at this time. So, whether or not this figure will see the light of day in the states is up in the air. This could quite possibly see a release in Asia though. We will keep you posted on TFW.

Hasbro Hong Kong have posted some images of the Cybertron Con Exclusive Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime Universal Studios Edition on their Facebook page. This special piece uses the Japanese version of Voyager Optimus Prime and comes with a special version of the MechTech Trailer advertising Transformers the Ride. It comes in a handsome window box with window flaps. Check out the new images by reading on or visiting the link above.

Word is rolling in from various members of the Transformers community that the Transformers Movie Trilogy Optimus Prime - the Deluxe recolor with the MechTrach trailer from the Japanese Chronicle reissue set - has been released at US retail. The final entry (for now) into the Movie Universe toy line was spotted at Target stores including the Nora Target in Indiana. Hit up those Targets if this toy is one of your Prime Targets!

Well folks, here is the bad news that I think a lot of you feared was coming, but did not want to hear regardless. There's been some question to the fate of several upcoming releases left in the Transformers Dark of the Moon line - the sixth wave of Deluxes Wheeljack (aka Autobot Que) and Soundwave, the Target Exclusive two pack of Leadfoot and Twin Twist, as well as Human Alliance Soundwave. Well, by way of El Duque of Seibertron, we have an answer - they are cancelled. These toys are no longer planned for a US release. The same fate has befallen them as with previous assortments, including the Reveal the Shield Voyagers and final assortments of Transformers Animated - low retailer demand in anticipation of the new line.

As always, there is a slender chance that at least some of these - Wheeljack and both versions of Soundwave - might surface at Marshalls, Ross or other discount stores - but for the moment, all of these - including Leadfoot - have only seen a release in Japan.

We have received some official images of the Transformers Movie Trilogy / All Stars Optimus Prime with trailer. This release is a redeco of the Deluxe Class Optimus Prime previously available through Wal-Mart as an exclusive, and includes the trailer from the Japanese Transformers Chronicle release of the mold. Two days to go until Toy Fair, and the Official Transformers Facebook page has updated with another official image, this time of the Deluxe Optimus Prime with Trailer under the "Movie Trilogy" label.

Hobby website Scaletrix has posted a new exclusive item, a Limited Edition 1976 Movie Bumblebee slot car. The car is limited to 2,000 pieces, available in all terrortories excluding Australasia and North America and will have a battle weathered deco to it. The price for this piece is £49.99.

We received a word that the second book of the Transformers: Classified series is arriving later this year. Book 2 is named Battle Mountain and is written by the same writers; Ryder Windham and Jason Fry. Transformers Classified Book 2: Battle Mountain is set to release on October 9, 2012 which is nearly a year after the release of the first book; Switching Gears.

The series is aimed at “young adult” readers and is set in the Live Action Movie Continuity. As the name suggests, the book series follow untold stories of the Autobots living on earth.

Despite set in the movie continuity, the Transformers: Classified series doesn’t get the mainstream attention unlike the Exodus series. We at TFW2005 are proud to make the first announcement for both books, to the Transformers Fans. We hope to see more from the Classified series and wish the people behind the book series, all the success.
