Optimus Prime Getting His Trailer in Transfomers 3?

Something has popped up on Twitter that may be of interest to our readers who are looking forward to Transformers 3. Thanks to the great phone camera work of jeffa1m1ghty, we now have shots of what looks to be Optimus Prime's trailer on the streets of Chicago!

The trailer appears to have similarities to the classic G1 design, with some minor updates. No word yet if this will actually be a trailer that Prime pulls in the movie, or if this is something on set for other purposes. Click the thumbnail for the images.

Though is it just me, or is the trailer incredibly long? Shouldn't it just have maybe a foot or two of length from behind the rear wheels...or is it just the fact that I keep staring at my Masterpiece Prime Trailer to the left of my computer?

Very nice. I'd put money on him combining with it. That's what was originally planned for RoTF before they had him combining with Jetfire instead.

I'm not sure now but it looks like the truck in the front of the trailer is all blue. Either this guy's camera throws the colors off or the trailer is being pulled to the set by another truck.

Okay... Prime went without a trailer for the first two movies, and now for the third and final movie he's getting one? How are they going to explain where his trailer goes when he's not in alt-mode? Is it going to combine into his robot mode a la Armada, or just disappear?

I don't know whether Prime's getting a trailer is for real or not, and whether or not it's a good idea for him to suddenly have a trailer after having gone without one in the first two films.

If anything I REALLY REALLY hope it doesn't become any stupid armor or super mode. I HATE when Prime has a super mode or combines with someone, it feels so cheap and gimmicky

Yeah, I'm trying not to get my hopes up, as I'm thinking it may just be that.

If anything, I bet it's something the government built as a rolling "office" with computers and UAV's launching out of it or something similar. Something for Prime to carry. But as colorful as they made Prime with red, blue, and flames and what not, why such a drab plain silver trailer? I would think the trailer would match the cab or at least a solid red.
I bet it's some sort of rolling computer station kind of like what they had in LFDH movie.
