Thanks bro.

Poses are wierd but the bots look great in action. Alot like highly detailed "classic style" Transformers.

What's wrong with Bumblebee?
Maximus_Prime
yeah Bumblebee is right in your face with his body arched back and a closed fist almost like he's saying "Yessss!" or something like that. Kinda funny actually

Prime looks just as awesome as I hoped he would too.
Quincy
Geez! ...Did Hasbro get a chance to review those poses? ...Those are rough. Woof!
Prowl
God Dam, Bumble Bee looks freekin sweet!!!
Acid Wing
Hmmm, it looks like the Optimus with the chaingun from the early images, rather than the more recent Empire magazine's version. Hmmmm.
Cory Bauer
Bumblebee looks frekkin' great.

And it's nice to see Prime's classic topside
Gnaw

They forgot to give him his change at the Dairy Queen.

I'm thinking these things are more place holder images now that I see the novel cover. the Novel cover seems to look more like something from the I Can Read books than something for adults to read with what seems to be a very simple cover. You would think it would be either plainer without a picture of Prime or an actual picture of a movie scene. Also most movie novels have the Poster as the cover.

Prime looks like his optics are stitched shut. Why do all these renderings not have light coming out of their eyes?

yes totally. that image is NOT of the prime from the empire cover. i agree, these must be mockups/placeholders, the final cover can't possibly use those old models. perhaps they are just test-shots for working out poses for the covers..

OK, that made me laugh.

When I saw Bumblebee, I was thinking, "a tisket, a tasket..."
Driftbot
Bumblebee's native american name: Dances with cannons
Blunticon
Lookin good, to bad we cant see them in action more.
Ra88
If that pose is in the movie, I hope he'll use a certain Ash (Evil Dead, not Pokémon) voiceclip.
Godconvoy
The Bee man is just doing his Cyber-Bo to work off that energon.
ricprime
badass.
† Sunstorm

nice pics!

I still have a hard time looking at these bots, too visually detailed. Its hard to make out what I am actually seeing. Prime is way better than bumblebee. I cant make out exactly what pose hes in or if it one or 2 legs were seeing.
Blockier would have been better.
Also who can tell what their facial expressions are? I cant.

They're honestly not that complex. We're just not familiar enough with them yet. That, and they're intended for a 40ft theatre screen, not a tiny image of a book cover on teh internets. While these characters may appear to be too much for small mediums, simply blocky characters would have been way too little for a 40 ft screen.

but the empire's news from the page scans are out of date..they still talk about razor fighter. what if the cover is an old design?

Why would they have given them their February cover image any earlier than necessary? Or why would they give them an outdated version of Prime for his first official public debut?
Brave Magnus
I like the BB cover.
Vangelus
The moviebots kick ass at dealing with children. *happy*

Barricade: "Learn or I WILL OPEN YOUR FACE."

Bumblebee: "Have fun with stickers OR I WILL SHOOT YOU."

I thought they did changes also to Optimus but if you look at the picture carefully and the one from the show or the poster (I'll put links up if needed) they are actually the same design. Its just that in the empire mag it was all shaded in so it looks like he has the front nose of a truck as his stomache. But inside that nose is just shawdows. If you look at the other pic of him (the first one of him with the better face and the gun) that nose outline is still there it just doesnt look the same b/c there is no shawdow inside it just metal. The illusion on the empire mag is that that is full but in reality its the same design and on the gun pic, it has that same shape that looks like the of the nose of the truck outline. Im not saying your wrong Im right. Because Im willing to admit that I COULD be wrong and I did think the same thing. But after analysing it over again & again, I came up with the same shape. I will have to post some pics up for similarities. Anyways lol

It seems to me that the shot of Prime on Empires cover is after he scans the semi cab. This being the case I think primes chest just hasn't transformed all the way yet into it's chest cavity
airfox
I think shadows and lightning make "both designs" look more different than they really are.
