Seems decent enough, but I was never a big fan of insect-bots. Too many legs.

Some good detailing though.

Funny little guy. Seems his legs are way more stable than Scalpel's .

Well, they could have done the robot mode arms better then leaving his two fore legs just there as arm. They could have made his arms interlockable like Animated Waspinator's.

If I could spend money like a mofo I'd probably troop build these little guys. I like all the little mechanical detail on him. Very trippy.

He looks way out of scale for a movie insecticon..not a big fan of the buggies anyway..

WTF is that? Looks like a spider fly thing. Looks like a piece O' crap. Focus on the blue guy, he looks very nice, for a scout. I'll buy Breacher, I think he goes with Seaspray like Mindwipe/Skystalker.

Because despite what people may say, the scene in the house was one of the cooler and more memorable parts of the movie. Plus, it was a movie character.

Not at all. They (Has/Tak)don't just randomly pick things to make and hope they sell. They make figures that will sell. Bugs are cool, Transformers are cool, and as established, the above scene was memorable and featured the little guy prominently.

yikes. guess the law of averages says they couldn't knock EVERY scout out of the park.

I disagree with Mr. Horse. Yessir, I DO like it! Since the first Transformer I ever bought was Insecticon Kickback I'm quite fond of this little bug. Might have to repaint a bunch of them black and purple.

Nicely done toy... but for me I just could never dig that whole Beast Wars aesthetic.

"Transforms from 6-legged Bug Monster to 2-legged Bug Monster!" Sorry, you need to try a little harder than that.

This thing has about as much Beast Wars asthetic in it as the movie designs have G1 asthetic.

Which is to say none.

This little guy has a robot mode? WhY? It looks bad-ass as insect form, that little mode is not necessary, or maybe it's a nod to the old Generation.

It has a Beast Machines feel to it.

This is one of the very few TFs to be previewed recently that I like less the more I see of it. That combined with Drift, Voyager Prime, and some others going up my wants list makes this guy a likely pass now.

I dunno, I kinda disagree. This scene or character wasn't as memorable (to me) as Scrapper smashing that building with his chain claw thing.

But for the mold size choice it seems appropriate I guess. If Insecticon was a deluxe I'd totally say it was a waste of a mold.

I think he was speaking more in terms of concept then visual asthetic. Though I'm sure he's not too keen on that either.

But yeah, this little guy is straight up movie-verse. So of course some fans are going be negative about it, cause he doesn't have a little Geewun puppet face.

Really liking this lil' guy, hes very inspired and gives me good Beast Wars memories (ANIMAL HEAD IS CHEST)

As far as i see it, this guy's only got two purposes, one of which it shares with Breacher: Troop Building. It's basically perfect for building a set of evil drones.

The other purpose? Why, painting it white, of course! Add four lightsabers, and you're done. It would even technically be better than Hasbro's actual Grievous TF's.

He could really have used some more vibrant colours rather than dull shades of brown & grey... *shakes head*
