Movie Series GDO Leader Ironhide and Starscream Coming to Toys R Us in Canada and the US

In the latest in a line of formerly Asia exclusive Transformers making their way across the Pacific, the Movie series GDO Ironhide and Starscream Leader class recolors - sporting decos based on their Generation 1 releases - are Canada bound. Listings (linked above) have popped up on the Canadian Toys R Us website. Plus, new and official pictures are up for your perusal.

Will these two movie series Leaders also make it to the US or will they stay north of the border? Reports indicate that they will also grace store shelves in the US so keep an eye on the Toys R Us US website and your local store shelves.

Nice Catch! $45 pre-ordered is a damn nice price. Anyone else also notice that prime voyagers also had a price drop to $20.97. Wonder if this online only or store/site wide

Canada's pricing doesn't always follow the US.

But $45 each beats $99 each on BBTS.

Kinda tempted to get that Starscream because I love the mold so much and it'd be nice to have one version where I don't have to get all paranoid about possible GPS. Though the spots of bright blue are kinda weird.

totally picking up Starscream as i never got his Leader Class Figure and i LOVE G1! and $45 in canada means it will be cheaper here right? Even Sweeter!

The article on TFW's front page for this is rather confusing. The title states they're coming to US TRU's too, but the article itself doesn't suggest that it's for certain.

I do like the G1 Starscream deco on the Leader class but I have a MISB HFTD Leader Class already.

I could see a possible purchase of the Leader Starscream, but maybe if I sell off my Voyager version from the first film. Don't need two G1 re-decos of movie figures.

yeah man, releasing old movie molds, repainting more old figures rather than giving us breakdown, jet vehicon, voyager unicron, a new mold of Prime smokescreen.. etc.

i see this as them going in the wrong direction.

I'm glad the Bayverse line didn't START OUT like this. If everyone was in their G1 colors, I might have been tempted to buy them all... then be a completist with the movie lines.

Instead, when the movie line came out, I was put off by the non-G1 colors (and voices, and faces, and personalities) and I skipped four years of toys. Now, it's way too late to get me to jump on board.

Funny, because four years ago I would have REALLLLY wanted these versions... just as being some small nod to the old G1 fans.

Ironhide looks nice.

Starcream's knee joint is a horrible color mashup. Why does Hasbro insist on doing authentic battle wear on the wings when the rest of him crafted in dull grey plastic? It's a shame.
