The Arker has posted a selection of images of the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Leader Class Megatron toy in package. There's plenty of detail shots of Megatron's body and arms, although the head is not shown. Megatron's bio is also revealed, teasing at how Megatron returns more powerful than ever and plays into the larger plot of the new movie.

Flip-out sword on the MURDERARM is win.

Looks like the legs do a lot of transforming too.

Looks like how he returned has been revealed...

BIO:

Rebuilt with parts cannibalized from other Decepticons, Megatron rises once again to lead his army. Though the AllSpark destroyed him once, he can now feel its power coursing through his circuitry. It calls him to seize his rightful place as ruler over the puny planet which on he was imprisoned and destroyed, and from which he will launch his conquest of the universe. Optimus Prime is all that stands in the way of victory, and the Autobot leader has done a poor job of hiding himself. At long last, Megatron knows exactly where his enemy is, and he has enough power to destroy him.

...okay, what's the point of that watermark over the face if the package art of the head is still there?

Otherwise, DAMN, that looks so much nicer! I'm actually digging this big bulky death machine he turns into, a little more imposing than a flat Earth tank.
Venksta
Looks pretty good for a leader toy. But why did they have to block his face off???
rdarkstream
hey alright, they found a new way to package suck.
Pavol Palat
nice bot mode, yet the tank looks a bit meh - Megs did not learn his lesson from the first movie and threw one not so great flight mode for a land-based one of about the same "quality". But I've learned my lesson from the first movie, so I am going to wait for the premium version with nice metallic paint.
ZEGR
he looks good but i dont like the tiny left arm and the visible head in alt mode.im curious though about his mech alive thingy,my guess is its about his treads or his arm cannon
Infil
In tank mode, his head is peeking out below the cannon. You can see the red glow of his eye

It is worth nothing that box art is not a 100% accurate depiction of the same part of a toy.

That said, Arker = tease.
jdre_124
Eh. The figure has the tank tread legs nailed down.

The tank itself is pretty lame looking. Way too tall. Needs to be either flattened out or elongated.

Isn't there a promo image floating around that shows Meg's left arm a little more meaty and balanced looking? I wished they would have gone that route. I mean the friggin missile that the figure shoots is almost bigger than the left arm...

EDIT* Yeah the art is on the front page.

Much nicer looking to me.
dorfsquest
Hmmm... Interesting bio. Makes Megatron seem really savage. That figure stomps the last leader Megs into the GROUND!
razorchrist
Better than the first version... maybe. Still wish he would have 2 proper arms instead of looking like a War Amps advertisement.
Blitz.
wow that arm looks like its been ripped off a deluxe...

but its cool its by far nicer then the first movie toy and I will get it when its out
Dolza_Khyron
well the bio does say, he was built from spare parts of the dead decepticons, so it very well could be true. lol maybe they yanked that arm off brawl, or blackout?

or Frenzy.....
magmatron
Very nice, but I was hoping for his cannon arm to look more like the cgi plus his tank mode looks too FAB.
NGW
He looks pretty good. Also, it's kinda funny to see them covering his face....for some reason, especially since you can still see it in his tank mode..
grock35
the face is there...they forgot the to watermark the one in tank mode...lol
Ravenxl7
That's actually really awesome looking. Would have been nice to see the toy's head too. The tank-mode is a bit lack luster, but the bot-mode more than makes up for that. I oddly enough actually like the gimpy hand. Makes his other arm seem even bigger than it actually is. The gimmicks sound like they'll be fun, and the treads on this guy look really good. I'm definitely going to be getting Leader Megs, Prime, and Jetfire. It'll be interesting to see what repaints these molds get, and if they'll be interesting enough to buy or not.

it's probably because the face has a gimmick, like how the supreme animated optimist prime talks and moves his face shield.
Draven
After the amazing turd that was Leader Class movie Megs last time round, I want to see a LOT more pics of this toy (and a lot of pics out-of-package) before I even consider thinking it's not crap.
Takara_destron
Nice!
Julliant
Hmm only dislike is how the tank looks. Suffers just like Blitzwing's tank mode, it's too tall height-wise and too short lengthwise. Cybertronian tennis ball machine, as Vangelus would suggest.
Blitzwing
It looks nicer in bot mode but that tank is a bit crap looking. I'll get it on clearance, never bothered with first movie Megs.
LightningZERO
Hmm, not bad at all. The left arm still looks weird

Looks like I have to buy all 3 Leader class now T.T

agreed
Gadep
megatron looks like an alien anal probe machine on treads....so E.T. tells me....
TFfan08
I can't see any images from second link >_<
Starscreamer95
Fort Max
Eh, good to see it at last and it's a lot better then the first but like the first it's unimpressive when compared to the respective Prime figure.

These cybertronian modes just seem to allow for lazy designs that barely transform.
shroobmaster
Oh god YES! NOW I KNOW THAT I DIDN'T GET THE FIRST ONE, FOR IT WAS DESTINY!

Also is it just me or they're real threads? Why Hasbro loves to give us rubber threads all out of sudden?

I'm sad because, yknow, with time they'll just rip off!

Edit: Or not! Looking at the toy better, I can see that the legs ain't made of rubber tires for the foot transforms from it! It's normal generic plastic! YAY!
Rijie78
Cool, the mould itself looks good (will need painting properly tho, as with all the Movie toys). Be interested to see how much articulation it has, whether the cannon arm also has a hand, etc etc. Intriguing!

Hopefully we'll see the Jetfire toy soon...
Yaujta
I was hoping for a better alt-mode. The tank in the design pictures was more TransTech, while this one's more...lumpy. Either way, it's still a nice figure.
The gimpy arm looks odd compared to the murder arm, but there'll be an explaination for it, hopefully.
And the head in alt-mode is probably a false 'mask', like with Cybertron Metroplex. Turn it around and the real head shows.

In all honesty, I really wish they'd skip the gimmicks and electronics and make LC figures more along the line of Masterpiece. With Megatron, it seems like his torso is bulked up to make room for circuitry and electronics. If these things weren't added, I'd bet the tank would look better.

This.

Looks cool so far besides that crippled arm!

i'm sure it will be explained in the movie.

Tank mode is...meh. Looked alot cooler in the concept art. Robot mode is super-fine though. Will definitely get him.

Yea, when I was a kid myself I cared more for show accuracy and looking badass then some lights and sounds. Maybe I'm just more imaginative.
DieMaus
The big one! Finally! And I'm impressed, I must say. It's true that tank mode isn't as impressive as the concept art - neither the treads nor the cannon look large enough, given the height of the tank - but the robot mode is really terrific. The change from jet to tank fixes the main problem I had with the first Leader's bot mode, namely the colossal, unsightly wing kibble, and allows for a much more CGI-accurate physique. And I LOVE the arms; the assymetrical look fits perfectly with the "rebuilt from cannibalised corpses" origin, both arms look menacing and creepy in their own way, and most importantly of all it restores the classic oversized cannon arm look that really sells this as a Megatron to me.

So yeah, I'm impressed so far; very keen to see more of this dude out of packaging, so I can see his gimmicks and features. With Leader Prime's figure having real Cullen speech this time round, it'd be especially neat if Leader Megs had actual Hugo Weaving samples to match...we'll see, though.

(Oh, and it'd also be nice to see his head. Just saying, y'know.)
Liege Prime
Gotta say he looks cool all besides his "large" arm. It just looks like a mess and very under articulated for a leader.
Spiderus Prime
Who blocked Megatron's Face?
JazzSanti86
he looks very cool and no frosty blue parts
Malunis_T
I like how even though they blanked out his head, the box art is still revealed. XD

This is pretty epic. I may wanna look into this sometime when it hits the stores.
SoundFire Prime
Looks great. Now we just need to see Leader Jetfire!
Grimwing
Reading into that part cannibalization section of his bio in particular. I guess brawl is really where all the tank parts are from.

The tank alt mode looks stunning. I can hardly wait to buy it.

And the fact his head is clearly visible in tank-mode. Shame they haven't learnt their lesson on that.

All in all, looks better than last time, but he has a problem in that his arms are so short. Can't do much smashing beyond his belly.

I will more likely pick up the voyager class mould I presume they'll do, depending on how it is, but that's my usual opinion on Leader Class figures.

I hope his movie appearance and movements stress the Lockdown zombie-like mish-mash of parts of other transformers he is. I guess that's why his arms are so asymmetrical.
Sol Fury
Looks awesome to me. I'll probably get this one to replace the TF1 Megatron on my shelf, unless a suitably awesome Voyager version is offered.
Fez Findie
That looks awesome, even if I am doubtin' I'm buyin' him, as I can't enlarge my collection forever and all that...

Heck, I even like his tank form, 'cos it reminds me of this;

prime is a legend
looks pretty awesome apart from the weedy looking arm. like the idea of him canibalising the other decepticons though!
