Dark Of The Moon Unmasked Battle Blades Prime Bundle Walmart Exclusive

A few weeks ago, what was thought to be a custom Battle Blades Optimus Prime(TakaraTomy version) was posted at HK-TF by "I am the guy Michael". Recently, a Landmine Redeco surfaced. You're probably wondering what these 2 figures have to do with each other. Well a new image turned up today, showing that these 2 figures are in fact, a Walmart exclusive bundle for the Transformers Dark Of The Moon line. The image is small, but it looks like the Landmine repaint is named Comettor.

The moon image in the windshelds is a neat idea, but the stars all along the alt-mode just look stupid.

Oh wow, not bad. I'm so torn about it though, since I already have both figures...but I love the deco on Prime. I MIGHT get this...I just don't know yet.

There have been some questionable deco choices as of late with those two packs a little while ago, but I am at a loss for words.

I mean putting stars and a faux moon as a play on Dark of the Moon? Really? It seems like they're just trying to get some True Blood fans in on this.

I haven't gotten this voyager..... It looks awesome.... But the sparkles... no. Just no. I hope there's a way to get those off.

They had me at the dark gray instead of light gray in robot mode. Then they lost me at the painted-over windshield. And the sparklies on the sides of the truck left me shaking my head in disgust....

To be honest, when I first saw those images(before the boxed one turned up), I thought it was a joke.

I actually want this, Comettor ain't bad, Landmine always kicked ass, and aside from the tacky stars/moon painted on, the other paint apps, being metallic, and darker, coupled with the unmasked head sculpt AND hook swords, appeal to me.

This will be the ROTF-Optimus-In-The-Woods for me.

I think the sparkles can be removed with rubbing alcohol. Otherwise, the paint job looks great to me.

And yeah, one or the other would make it iffy, but both the hooks AND the sparklies do it for me on this Prime, since I never thought just the hooks justified me buying the Leader Prime "repaint". I'm gonna eternally have him in a "TOOO THE MOOOOOOON!" pose.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't getting this mostly for Comettor, though. Though the 'Bonus value" to me implies that this thing will be $25 max, maybe $20.

havn't got the landmine mold yet and i'm looking for a mouthplateless bbop (i'll just exchange the heads and sword axes and keep this version in the toy chest) i'll have to look in asda more often if i ever want to see this mold

Not a bad little redeco. And the reflection painted in Prime's windshield are just goofy enough for me to really want this pack.

This pack is really nice! Both figures are great repaints, but the stars and moons of Optimus are.. hmmm.... not good for me. I know kids will love it, but I'm to old for this.

I was all about this...right up until they made him Optimus Cullen (Edward, not Peter). >_< I'd even be fine with the moon on the window (it's a neat idea) but the sparkles and stars on him is just too much.

god dang twilight vampire attacked prime. he killed them but the sparkles on the vampires went all over prime. that why they are there.

Well, I passed on the original release of the mold because I heard there was going to be a hooked retool. Now that I also see he has a different facesculpt and darker gray plastic, I feel justified in doing so. Sure, there's the sparkly stars, but one dash of nail polish remover later...

Plus, a bonus Landmine repaint. I can dig it.
