That robot mode is such a little butter-ball.

Which line is M2 from? Dotm Bee looks so tiny.

That's Battle Blades Bumblebee from the HFTD line.

This guy looks cool, different enough from BB Bee to be maybe worth a buy. Depends what cool stuff he does with this mode in the flick.

Also, are we SURE that the regular DotM Bee is a retool of Battle Blades? I know they have similar transformations but that height difference is drastic. Do they actually have that many pieces in common?

Also, I think we know this already, but this should be in Feedback. Nevertheless, great pics and review.

The DOTM Bee is completely new, none of the parts come from the battle blade version

Bee Weapon Looks like a repaint of Skids Weapon

He strikes me as an upscale scout figure.

Definitely the best DotM Bee figure so far, and one of the best Deluxe Bee's we've gotten since the movie lines began. Only downside is the headsculpt. A battle-masked sculpt would have looked much better, imo. I'm kinda hoping this get's repainted/retooled like the Cannon Bee mold was. Not sure if it was intended, but his arms look like they've each got a small cannon built into them.

He's definitely misstransformed in these pictures. The dark gray stomach piece should cover part of the middle of his chest (like we've seen in previous pictures). The backpack also looks like it could use some readjusting, and the wings should be angled differently.

Assuming the mold doesn't get a repaint that has a battle-mode head, this'll most likely become my new movie Bumblebee figure.

It's very similar, but definitely not the same weapon. Part of me thinks this Mechtech weapon should have belonged to Mudflap. That way the twins have similar weaponry. Personally I would have been fine with Nitro Bee coming with a repaint of the wave 1 Bee's weapon. That gun in dark gray/black would have looked cool.

On the bright side, the eyes on Nitro don't look as dead as those on MechTech deluxe Bee. Am I the only one that notices that? MT Bee looks like he has black eyes and a skull instead of a head.

Any chance the lower legs from M2 could be swapped onto M3 or the head?

I think his new size, leg re-design, purple windows & space detailing make him worthy of a buy - plus, now his wings are finally the height they should be.

Man, I really like this Bumblebee. I love how he looks, maybe it's because his sooo busy. I can't get enough busy. I will buy this when it comes out...BUT I'M GETTING SO DAMN SICK OF WAITING FOR EVERYTHING IN MY LIFE, NOT JUST TRANSFORMERS BUT EVERYTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent pictures. Many thanks for the comparison shots, it really gets them all into perspective. Still loving my Battle Blades version most, though this and the Leader are rockin'.

I'm still going to buy it. But The lack of a waist Joint is crippling.

but till then movie 1 BB is all I need

Probably my biggest pet peeve with Transformers right now, especially when there's no excuse for it (Drift and WFC Megatron come to mind, i'm a bit more forgiving of WFC Prime's origami stomach). The ONLY reason I kinda want Nitro Bee is because he's the only movie BB figure ever to get his wheels inside the feet—but money's tight and this would make the third muscle car BB mold I own, and I'm not passing up on TF: Prime BB so this is probably a no-go.

He looks very different from any movie Bumblebee we've had before, so that alone is worth a potential buy. I like his vehicle mode design very much.

I'm gonna pick him up, though the regular dotm bee looks to be my favorite of the 3. May swap a bunch of the parts between all three figures, if I can, to make him look the way I'd like him to.

Also, looking at thee pics, the way the doors are attached to the backpack makes it look like they can be spread out.

i may be the minority here, but i just do not like the new BBs. the head recessed so far into the shoulders looks very dumb to me. same with the new leader class one. dont like. car mode IS cool....not enough to buy tho

I really like the scifi detailing on this bee. So far, I've been happy enough with my movie 1 concept Camaro Bumblebee that I haven't bought another, but this looks worth a purchase.

personally, i think that this is the best BB mold! I have gattling BB already, so probably wont pick up this one. when the repaint comes though... SO purchased (and hopefully another character)!

I really like the weaponized look of the vehicle..but the robot mode is kind of disappointing and tiny.

BBBB still wins it for me, sorry. I will get the others as I am a collector, but the main display figure is still BBBB.

Remember, Battle Blades BB is an unusually large deluxe (which is not to say some of the new toys probably are a bit on the small size). I've seen other comparisons of DOTM BB and it's pretty comparable to TFTM deluxe BB toys or Sidearm Sideswipe in height.

Why is Hasbro shrinking it? He looks like a dwarf compare to the Battle blades Bumble bee. I'll still get it though but I do not want the figs getting smaller.

Hm, he has inwards elbow articulation like BB Bumblebee, whereas the regular DOTM Bee has forward elbow articulation (which I prefer).

Both look nice to me however.

looking at this picture, it looks like the doors are attached with swivel joints. Can they be swung outward to finish his look?

Much appreciated images and review lushkwok! I dig the armored parts and mech tech sans spring, don't dig the lack of battle mask. Of all Bumblebee figures this one seems like it's begging for one, it makes sense.
