Dark of the Moon Landmine Redeco Robot Mode Image

Getting a Sandstorm vibe off this one.

Vehicle mode colours look a bit odd, but it sorta comes together in botmode. I'll be passing on this one, and depending on the quantities they ship I could see it being a bit of a shelfwarmer, but at least they're using a decent mold here.

I'm guessing you may have called the name.

Not bad. Oddly enough the combination of the orange and black in bot-mode makes me think of my High School's colors, lol. Will probably pass on him, as I'm happy enough with the one copy of the mold I already have.

Is that not the scout mold from ROTF, not the dlx from 2007?

Look at the bed at the back of the vehicle, that's not how I remember my 2007 Landmine. (I don't own the scout mold.)

Defo the deluxe, the scout version had two big triple barrelled minigun things attached to it.

Bumblethumper is right, he's likely named Sandstorm..... but in a perfect world it would be Detritus.

I'll get him, I'm a fan of that mold. And I actually like the pale tires, they're nicely weird.

yeah man, i LOVE that mold. Bought the 2007 and 2009 versions... i guess i can get this one and set them up together as a little clique.

Don't know if I ill get this guy or not. For now I'm calling him Rustbucket.

Ah,i like the colors too,sadly i own a ROTF NEST Armorhide,then again,i didn't see it coming, and Sandstorm and Detritus are perfect names,still i find a Rattrap vibe from his colors myself,and would be surprising if he was called "Rattletrap".

I like him, I'd buy him just to complete an entire repaint cycle.

Hope he's in a 2 pack with some other figures i'd want, maily a Incinerator repaint.

yeah, that's a good name. I know someone made some custom Animated BW figures and used that name.

That's because Rattrap's analogue in TFA was named Rattletrap XD

I like it, but the colors make him look too 'football player' for my tastes. Also, I already own both Landmine and Armorhide, so I don't see myself getting this one.

Unless I can use him to stand in for GoBots Buggyman.

Yeah, I don't think it's going to be Sandstorm, but who knows. He does have a "lunar" vibe and he looks to be colored as an astronaut. His name might reflect that possibly. ??????

Quite nice, but I wish they retooled the head this time; I've always hated it.

In there, it says that the name of the DOTM Landmine repaint will be Comettor.

If his name is Comettor I guessed right. When it first leaked and said is it is a moon buggy, I thought of Jetfire's minicon

Though I still say he also has the Seacon Space Pirate color scheme.

As mentioned, we already have a Sandstorm coming. I could've seen this being Duststorm, though. Or maybe Countdown. Detritus would've been cool, too.

Ooh, interesting. He especially looks like the Takara Metals Rattle that came with the puzzle. That would've been neat.

Not a fan of the name myself... maybe they should have gone with Countdown.

oh, i need to go back and rewatch all of Animated again. I got my wife to start watching Season 1, so now we just need to keep going and then Hasbro needs to release season 3.
