Evac4
Planning to ride the new Transformers Ride at Universal studios Hollywood? Well, if you do, you'll be partnered up with this Autobot. His name is Evac and he'll be taking you by the hand throughout the world of the Transformers. Thanks to HK-TF we have our first look at the prototype of this deluxe figure.

Take a look after the break!

Nice, will buy if I get the chance.

Who is this again?
Omega Charge
That looks great!

Would be nice to see the photo before it had been photoshopped. It's nice to see that his alt-mode is cleaner looking than we had previously seen. The side panels certainly help that. I don't plan on getting this, but his Legion figure is definitely on my to-get list (he'll be my Classics Roller).

He's an Autobot from Transformers: the Ride in Universal Studios Hollywood.

It's Roadbuster's, Sideswipe's, and Jolt's baby.
Seriously though, he looks really nice.
Autobot Burnout
Not bad. If that photoshop is a rough indication of the color maping, then I'm going to need to give him some small detail highlights. I'm also a bit worried about those shoulder wheels getting in the way of the cut swivel joint at the shoulders, but other than that, I think he looks really neat. I also love the truss-style frames on his legs, very unique.

He's the new Autobot from the Movie ride at the Orlando Studio parks. More specifically, he's the vehicle people sit in during the ride.

I wish!
For now it's only in Hollywood and Singapore, but I hope they bring it to Orlando some time in the future! As of now I;d have to go across the country for a 5 minute ride

Ah I see, thanks.
miscreant
Some about this fills me with a combination of Dejavu and 'Meh'.
Napjr
Seems to have a fake chest

Otherwise, looks pretty neat so far

Is he gonna be available al retail or only at the ride giftshop?
hotrod422
I like the way this looks.
phoenix88
He looks pretty nifty. The only things i'm worried about are the likely unpainted grey plastic that will plague the arms and lower legs (that can be solved with some detail work) and the chest. It looks like there's a bit of a gap between that red painted section and the upper part of the chest. It could just be the mock-up, but we'll see.
WhiteMocha
This mold looks really nice. Lots of repaint potential as well, assuming it is available at regular retail.
Heat Guy
I'm excited mainly so we can get a 'accurate' movie Roadbuster.
Lazerwave
It seems that it is a Universal Studio Exclusive.

No, he's mass release. We're not having another Aveo Swerve incident on our hands again.

I thought the bottom picture was the packaging, and the Universal Studios logo looked promising.
General Tekno
Looks like a solid toy.

And I thought Deluxe Evac was a Universal Store exclusive?

Which means, of course, people who live in the area will definitely be getting a lot of middlemanning money.
prime326
I really want this guy
Lazerwave
If this is a Universal Studios Exclusive it's a good thing I'm going down there this summer. I wonder if any of my friends at home would want some.
Jazz210
Look at that, hes got a backpack...well more like a cape haha
It looks like a remolded Roadbuster except hes got the arms with the guns Rb should of had, nd the legs, nd the feet aw hell this alot better then Rb. I think ill buy a couple when its in stores!!
tfprime32

If I remember right didn't Hasbro say the ride-accurate version would be exclusive, but the mold would see mass release in a redeco? Same with the Cyberverse. Could be wrong though.
Godzilla Ranger
Hopefully, scalpers don't ransack the gift shops when this comes out -__-

And you know this for certain? Sorry to doubt, but it's hard to tell around here sometimes. Many throw around so-called facts when in reality they are simply making educated guesses and or postulating a hoped for wish.
Ra88
Did they ever clarify on whether this would or wouldn't be mass release? I don't remember them saying anything on the matter.

That makes me hope Hasbro remolds this into a stealth mode Roadbuster. Would just need the machine guns, missile pods and some remolded bits to make the altmode work better. If not, it should be incredibly easy to customize him, at least.
Ravenxl7
If my memory is correct, and I'm pretty sure it is, during last year's NYCC Q&A Hasbro stated that Evac would be a mass release, and not any sort of exclusive for the ride.
harrismonkey
Doesn't look to bad. I wonder who photo shopped it. Thinking back to deluxe Roadbuster it's already got more "color" on it than I thank we can really expect from Hasbro.

We'll find out.
RustyMuffler
Going by Hasbro's relationship with park exclusive merchandise in dealing with Disney and Star Tours, I'd be amazed if this wasn't a park exclusive item. I know that it's a different park, but the basic idea remains the same. If it sees a retail release outside of the parks, I imagine it would be a store exclusive.

I do remember something about this. Seems like they indicated it would be available with the ride, and were a bit vague about how else he might be released.

But my memory is pretty hazy on this. I'm sure they'll talk about it next week.
Tikin
In fact now that I think about it we saw the Cyberverse version in that Argos catalog.
It's not definitive but it's the most evidence we have either way.

Well, I certainly hope so. At the very least I think he's a great figure and worthy of mass release... for whatever that's worth (not much).

The one point in favor of this seeing mass release, is the already planned mass release Legion class Evac figure. Doesn't mean that Universal won't have some special paint apps version or modded version specific to the park, but I think this character will see mass release.
Starfire22
The only time I don't stalk HK-TF...
RedAlert Rescue
Nice that it's packed in a box in car mode - not seen that on a Deluxe for a while now.
Lumpy
i'm so excited for my trip to Universal in June... this ride is the first thing i'm gonna do, hopefully this toy is ready by then...
Anguirus
Reminds me a bit of Breacher, actually.
Snake_eyes1975
if THAT is how it looks...That may be my new fav TF for awhile

LOOOOVE IT
Tiller
The backpack is strong with this one.
Axel990
He's definitely on my want list. Just don't let him be an exclusive to the Universal parks...
Rijie78
Articualtion looks good, and liking the design. There's a fair bit happening on it's back tho.. Final product will be interesting.
samtastic
Hideous.
Kaymac
Looks closer to the "traditional" aesthetic. He looks like he'll be a good partner to Breacher!
silenth
Looks like he will be a Ross exclusive.

I think the purely human proportions and human like face represents the worst of movieverse design. I don't want my transformers to have faces like Star Trek aliens in subtle prosthetics.

Much prefer imaginative more appealing and original alien robot faces like Movie Sideswipe, Ratchet and Ironhide for movieverse.

This looks SO unappealing. Yucky.
Yobuster
Hmm looks nice but only 1 question, so when he transforms what happens to his passengers, do they get squished? hahaha

I believe Evac will be a mass release and then for the parks he'll have a slightly different version (paintaps or otherwise) for park exclusive.
Fort Max
Looks like a pretty average movie figure and with so much awesome stuff coming this year it's going to be very easy to just ignore this.
TheTFReview
I shall be at the Grand Opening of this ride as Press, securing many copies of this toy for my fellow TFWers. I love the headscupt/arms.
