More Age of Extinction sighting news for you tonight – it seems like the Age of Extinction Titan figures are also slipping through the street date of the line – 12 May for online and 17 May for brick and mortar, for those keeping track. The Titan figures are the big, non-transforming plastic figures with low poseability, perfect for younger fans. The first assortment of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Drift were spotted at a Kroger Marketplace in Fort Wayne IN by 2005 Boards member Rook Bartley!

How hard is it for Hasbro to make more than one toyline in every franchise that can appeal to older fans?

Very easy repaint/retool into Bludgeon here.
And you could even consider it an updated Pretender figure too since well… this was the form.

My Target in Texas out them out today or yesterday I guess. Only 1 left.

"On that day, humanity received a grim reminder. We lived in the fear of the Titans, and were disgraced to live in these cages we called walls."
Mister Chief
Looks like Drift is getting a lot of attention

Sorry, I'm missing the significance of why you keep saying "Kroger owned". Most of us know Fry's is owned by Kroger's and that back East they only have Kroger stores, not Fry's, but what does this have to do with the price of plastic in China, Shin?

Same… I know nobody will believe me but I feel like I'm going to be sick just looking at these things

Not Titan Class, just Titans. It's not a size classification just a figure type that they apparently do across all the franchises, not just TFs.
Shin-Gouki
Those will be in the clearance isle at my Fry's (Kroger Owned) before they ever sell a single one.

This made my day.
Chaos Prime
Titan class figures? That's what these abominations are classified as?
HereticalHeresy
I just realized. It makes sense why they're called titan class. They're larger and ugly forms of other things we've recognized, and they've slowly been conquering space in toy stores, driving the figures we love to the brink of extinction, to the point where they cower behind shelves. Similar to something else…

Really?? That expensive???

It's alright, we all have our moments of absent-mindedness.

Well, the package does appear to have better articulation. And probably more paint apps.

Ah, heh heh, NO. These… things… are NOT good for mass-retail children's toys. Rescue Bots are. The Voyager/Deluxe Class Cyberverse Beast Hunters are. The upcoming simplified AoE figures are. The Activators and Fast Action Battlers of Animated and the first two Movie lines were good children's toys. The Titans are nothing but glorified McDonald's toys.
