TFW2005 member Yaujta reports that he recently spotted an Age of Extinction Value Pack in a Walmart in Hagerstown, Maryland. This value pack pairs up the Mega One Step version of Bumblebee with a tiny Legion class Stinger – the Stinger is a repack of the existing Walmart exclusive version of the character who was a redeco of the Prime Cyberverse Knock Out toy.
This set is also a Walmart exclusive – so check those Walmarts if this set interests you!

Stinger was probably the figure I anticipate the most from this movie but again we never get what we want.
Afterburner
I wonder if I put two dumps in a box if I could market it as a "value pack?"

Well, Hasbro loves Bumblebee, and Bumblebee hates cheap knockoffs of himself, so…

Poor Stinger, he really is the underdog of AOE.

Ask for Deluxe Stinger, gets this instead.

After going to a walmart and seeing both mass release and exclusive version, I saw that they were exactly the same color. This means that they may be a variant where later versions used the lighter color plastic.

Of course it would've helped if any of those Silver Knight figures were actually remoulded to have the different chest design shown in the packaging art. But like most of the Stinger merchandise it all seems a bit half-arsed.
Autovolt 127
Well we would have cared if it actually had amounted to something.

What really amazes me is that Stinger's so 'special' that he gets to be a store exclusive character yet he doesn't even get his own mold (or figure as far as we know) in the Generations line. And that's despite actually being named in the movie, which is rare for any character who's not an Autobot.
Nope.
Mudslide
I don't think anyone cared about the "Silver Knight" stuff to begin with.
Omegax80
This I know. It's more of the fact of Walmart specifically obtaining exclusive rights to Stinger. You can get dinobots, Optimus, or any other character in any store. There are so many variations of this "Silver Knight" crap I don't think anyone cares about it anymore.
Skottech
It would have been hilarious to see Bee be jealous of Stinger at that size.

Walmart got Stinger toys as exclusives (save for the flub with One-Step Changer Stinger at Target), Target got Silver Knight Optimus Prime toys, and Toys"R"Us got the Evolution two-packs.
Omegax80
What is it with Walmart and Stinger anyway. Didn't see any Walmart ad placements on his ass in the film…

This.
You, sir, are now banned from TF collecting, with your scale nonsense!
(Actually, anyone else think the movie would be BETTER, were this the actual scale during the TF4? )
Thanks for pointing that out (I can see it in the picture, too). I hate the orange color of the regular BB… I was gonna grab this mold for my kid, but to be honest, it's too much money and he has enough BB toys from the previous movies. Can't wait to find one at TJ Maxx for $15, however (just wait a couple of months).
The only thing more EPIC than stealing this BB? Going to jail for stealing this BB!
Autovolt 127
Well this isn't fair. Stinger's downright puny.
>implying anyone would want to steal that Bumblebee.
dragon
same can be said about bumblebee if you have big coat
mizuki088
It looks like shell warmer to me.

If anyone (maybe a variant completist, Bumblebee collector, etc.) is interested, the shade of yellow is different (lighter) than the shade used on the mass-release Bumblebee, when comparing them side-by-side. I don't have photographic proof, but comparing them firsthand in the store, the difference is pretty obvious.

Might try finding this one for Christmas time.
