That Skids is so awesome. Only HA toy I intend to get so far, unless they announce Mudflap. Dont really care for Arcee or Mikaela though. I would have been happier if they used Simmons instead.

I like this line. I got Bumblebee two weeks ago and he fits nicely with the alternator line. He is a bit small compare dto the others but you can;t really tell too much. I am definately getting sideswipe. question for everyone, if this was an alternator line, do you guys think skids is car mode would have made a good car for cliffjumper?

Lucky for me (and my wallet) the entire HA line up til' now is an easy pass. The only thing that interest me on these two is the painted disc calipers on Swipe.

Now that's bad for me, YMMV though.

I agree. HA BB and skids look like improvements on the deluxe version, like they were just able to do some things at this size that they couldn't in deluxe. Sideswipe doesn't look as good as the deluxe to me. I'm sure it has something to do with this being a very slender car and then having to build a passenger compartment into it. Or maybe the deluxe was just too good.

Both for me are bought. I got BB last night, and only real complaint, is the seats on his arms don't fold up or anything, that and his chest sections like to come out of place and retract.

on a note for sideswipe, all the picture angles for bot mode are a angled top down, which is going to make him look stumpyer but I have a feeling if we get some better pics he looks better

No, he didn't; that was Mudflap. Take a look at the CGI; green one doesn't have wings.

He might have when he had the Ice Cream truck alt mode (I didn't watch closely enough) but for some reason he didn't after he upgraded (which is kinda weird, because he otherwise shares a lot of transformation elelments with Mudflap).

Notice that even in the thread title, these are clearly the Takara releases of the figures; both companies are releasing them because BOTH COMPANIES had a hand in designing them.

I don't think sideswipe looks fat. I think it's the way his backpack is looking in the picture that makes him look a bit horizontally challenged.

I think Sideswipe looks pretty movie accurate.

The real reason Arcee came to Earth.
The only HA bots I'm getting are going to be Bumblebee and Skids.

The one thing that puts this Sideswipe over the Deluxe one, for me anyways, is that he actually has guns in addition to his blades. Otherwise, the Deluxe is pretty hard to top. Actually Epps might've sweetened the deal if he wasn't wearing a helmet; I don't think Tyrese wore that helmet outside of the Shanghai operation?

this is the same crappy "official hasbro picture' they had in toyfare a month back, and we've since heard from someone overseas hwo got to mess with HA Sideswipe that his lower legs can pull out farther (i think we saw a picture of it that looked a lot better)

I like Skids, but I don't think I shall be bothering unless he's seen cheap somewhere in a year's time. Sideswipe I am happy with as a Deluxe.

Am loving this line so far.

For some reason, Bumblebee is the only one that really looks good. Skids would be my 1st pick, but Skids doesn't have the "wings" in the movie, and that Arcee looks terrible, so I'm gonna hold out for the Deluxe Arcee. Either Sideswipe's lower torso is really unproportionate, or it's the perspective of the camera. I'm gonna have to see more photos.

And is Ironhide supposed to be part of the HA line?

i like everything but the arcee... it's pretty bad...no, really bad. i guess i'll be leaving that one in bike mode. i also wish the megan fox figure looked like..megan fox. i'm still getting it though,,. i hope the mudflap figure comes with al sharpton

Sideswipe is bought JUST for that sexy-ass vehicle mode. Robot mode is okay.

Skids is great, though. He should've come with one man... Simmons, but hey, maybe Mudflap have him? Skid's robot mode is awesome, and Arcee is a nifty extra.

Okay, so I'm seeing many things I don't like about this figure.
1st. Her Face. It just dos not look right and dose not even look like the one in the movie. Plus its all hunched over.
2nd. Whats with her gun arm, it just dose not look right and I'm also not seeing an elbow joint. So it looks like it stays fixed in that position.
I think it would be better for Hasbro not to call this one Arcee. Give it another name and it will be a little more okay.

The plus sides with this figure over the other ROTF Arcee is she dose not need a Chiropractor to straighten her spine.
I hope the Mikaela can sit right on the Energon vertion of Arcee, or even the new ROTF Knock out.
Sorry, But I had to get that off my chest. Don't get me wrong I will be buying this set, I like the Skids and Mikaela figure And maybe when I see the figure in person It may be better then in the photos.

So far the best ROTF Arcee I have seen so fat is the "Mystery Arcee".

Either that's a crazy shadow or some cybertronian markings that shouldn't really be there Looks cool though.
