Wal*Mart Exclusives Breakaway, Fracture, And Crankcase Out At Retail

Is it wrong that I'm more excited about the fact that I still have a chance at finding Grindcore?

I still want Fracture, Breakaway and Crankcase though.

These looked so good at BotCon. I can't wait to see them in person, and then try desperately to not buy them all.

I stopped in Walmart (North NJ) tonight. They never unpack in a timely manner; there was a huge Transformers "off-screen" box - that took up one entire palette - and was at least 4' high. Easily a center floating isle display or end-cap special.

I was only interested in hunting for Decepticon Fracture because I love the Classics Mirage mold. After 10 minutes of getting no one to help me, I just opened the top of the box myself. I sorted through 4 rows and found only 1 Fracture off the top - but the box was much bigger than those few rows, so I can't accurately comment on case distribution.

Anyways, just Sharing...

I found Fracture and that bot made from Energon Red Alert's mold (can't remember the name) last night at the Wal-Mart in Dahlonega, GA. Keep checking guys, they seem to be hitting everywhere (and this town is SMALL--I'm surprised they hit here at all). lol

I stopped by at my nearest Walmart yesterday. They did'nt have them.

I have seen all three on Ebay, but they want too much for them. Again I checked Walmart.com and I did'nt them listed. I even typed the names on their search box and still nothing.

I think it's annoying for Wal-Mart's website to give you, oh, EVERYTHING transformer related when you type in "transformers fracture".

Yeah I went ahead and typed in Transformers Fracture and still not listed.

when I was driving back from Atlantic City on Monday, I heard a radio spot for Walmart twice.

It had a boy saying "Autobot... Transform"... "Autobot... Transform", then the boy's mother said something to the fact that the car they were driving in wasn't really a Transformer, but they were on the way to Walmart where they could find some very special Transformers.

Then the radio announcer mentioned about the Bumblebee three pack, and the other Walmart exclusive Transformers.


So... I kinda expected that Walmart having this radio ad and all would have been more on the spot about rolling out this pallet full of exclusives.

Anyone else here this radio ad?

Did anyone else notice that the pallets lack a certain, oh, I don't know. Jolt?

I went through the entire side of the pallet when I went back to Wal-Mart this morning after picking up everyone but Divebomb last night (and what I thought was everyone but Divebomb and Jolt) and couldn't find a single Jolt! Kind of funny how he's going to be the rare one of the group, apparently.

my wife got excited and told me about the radio ad too, and i totally didnt let her know i had heard about it already...and i bet walmart rolls this stuff out tomorrow...i plan to check during my lunch break...

You know what, that makes sense now. Remember there was a listing that just had Grindcore, Big Daddy, & Divebomb for Universe? I bet this is it.. even though it's movie...

Just got mine in the mail a few days ago, he's a great repaint of an awesome mold.

I just found these this morning. Surprised, we usually get things a good month or two later than everywhere else.

Looks like the quality control is suspect. I saw a lot of iffy paint jobs in the packages. Even after carefully picking the best looking ones, my Breakaway's car roof/back pack won't stay attached, and Fracture's face has sloppy paint

Ah well. At least I found em quick. Sucks that these showed up so fast and I'm still looking for crap like Galvy/Acid Storm though

Didn't buy Crankcase this go round, he's my least favorite of the molds so I might be able to resist him, but we'll see.

Not sure if Jolt's even in this wave. He was quite the shelf warmer the last time they original 4 were released. And when I say shelf-warmer I mean he was the only one I saw of the bunch at like 5 WM's and he went pretty quickly after that.

People in Washington are finding that entire cases are being relieved of their Fractures and put up on eBay. Weak sauce

So... I wonder if all of the Wal-Marts put them out today. I'm trying to decide whether it's worth a trip there this morning before my wife goes to work....

Okay, I just got back with my treasure in tow!

I was really disappointed at first, because there was nothing. Then the salesgirl asked me if I was looking for something, and I said something about Wal-Mart exclusive transformers on a radio ad. She went in the back and said they were up on top of the sturdy deck, and she had the guys bringing them down. About a half hour later, I had Fracture, Breakaway, Crankcase, and the Bumblebee 3 pack in my hands.

While I was waiting, I was just perusing the aisles, and they had several Movie Desert Brawls on clearance for 25 bucks. I just happened to look on the endcap where some movie and Animated stuff were, and there were one of each of Premium Prime and Megatron, also on clearance for 25 bucks. So I grabbed 'em both, just because they look much better than the others (I initially bought all of the toys of the characters that were in the movie when they first came out).

So I'm happy... I've got say, while some of the paint apps are a little sloppy, the general scheme of them looks great, especially Breakaway. Unfortunately, his backpack keeps falling off, but I attribute that to this being the.... what, 6th time this mold has been in production? (US Hot Shot, Galaxy Force Excellion, US Excellion, Galaxy Force Red Excellion, Botcon Goldbug, Breakaway...)

I would think that he's not in the pallet. That's alright though, him and Divebomb are the only two I saw when they were at my WM the first time around, and now I know why at least Divebomb stuck around.

In all the hullabaloo (Wait, this is a real word? Firefox doesn't have a red line under it. o.O) about this pallet, I forgot to even check for the Legacy of Bumblebee pack in my WM wonder if they put it out last night.

It could just be your two Breakaway figures. Mine is very tight and the missile launcher/backpack stays on just as well as my Cybertron Hot Shot does.

I'm sure its 7, as there were two different DVD versions of Red Excellion.

My area in TN has 7 WalMarts and none of them have yet to get the exclusives in....

I remember seeing a comparrison gallery with the 2 different versions and the Cybertron one, but can't find it now.

Saw them all today at WM. Only picked up a Fracture. The rest just don't grab me.

There wasn't. Remy has a test shot version which all featured a lighter red than the actual release version. So only one DVD Exillion.

I found lots of them today as well, my brother's Breakaway is really loose but not mine.

The exclusive pallet has shown up in North Carolina now. I went out this morning and found it out on the floor at my local store.

Haven't seen the Bumblebee three pack though...
