Gah. Please, no more 70s disco porn music with my reviews.
Nice to see I wasnt the only one to think that.
…Although I think you're wrong on Rampage. I rather like the centaurish thing they've got going, although I'd prefer if his mass was centered over the legs more.
I was going to try passing on Skids because of his hideous leg-kibble. But now i'm sold on him.
Rampage was a definate buy from the start. Whips of doom ftw. I hope he's supposed to be some kinda fourlegged robot, so that those rear supports are not just kibble, and so that he continues demolishor's tradition of funky legs.
Devastator's a combiner.
The Supreme-size toy consists of vehicles that combine to form Devastator, but don't have individual robot modes. The individual Constructicon toys have robot modes, but can't combine. In the movie, they will have vehicle and robot modes as well as the ability to combine into Devastator.
Bingo
yeah after watching those vids I really like Skids now for sure. I want a bigger Long Haul figure but that FAB is really cool too.
Someone please correct me, but it would seem there is reason to believe Devastator, in ROTF, is not really a combiner?!! Please tell me this is not true!!!!

Just had a thought for all you bashers out there. Maybe the FAB Long Haul is the perfect scale to make the feet of a proper combiner with the Leader Class Commander Doom Wheels? Huh? Huh?
Haha, owned. Although I don't know why you'd tear into a toy for such a small detail anyways.
Definitely was not trying to "own" Peaugh by any means. (Peaugh~ trust me, no insult intended). I was just pointing out that the landing gear hand was intended, unlike what he and the rest of us originally thought, and not just the fallout from a compact legends design where they thought, "Hmmm, where do we put this thing? I KNOW! The HAND!"
I was just thinking that if I was Peaugh, I would have looked at the trailer, back to my legends fig, back to the trailer, then at the FAB, then back to my legends fig….and then….. *sigh* damn…..
I'm liking skids and rampage a lot more now. pretty sure I'll get both. skids looked sloppy as hell at toyfair, but he's actually incredibly solid in that video. very nice.
it's to see them in the hands of people smart enough to figure out their proper transformations.
Skids looks like a solid figure. I like how his giant arm has movable appendages, instead of a solid fist.
Rampage is unique, I think they got some ideas off BW Rampage.

Because without knowing it's a cane, it looks like ass…very unsymmetrical. Even knowing it's a cane…still looks like ass. It's too short to serve as a cane and it's coming out the top of his fist, he's not even holding it. I might still do the Peaugh-mod to mine…
I only watched the Skids vid. Is it just me or are Deluxe figs getting smaller? Kinda cool toy though, even if the face looks like the offspring of a Gremlin and that alien thing from "Mac & Me".
Also, the music in that video was pretty sucky. I ended up just fast-forwarding to see the completed bot-mode.

Not smaller, shorter.
Due to Skids's bulk he's not as tall as other deluxes figures but he still got the same weight of plastic etc.

I like Skids but I really hate his weird looking head it is just that one eye I hate. I wish it came with a banjo because when I see him and Mudflap I think hillbilly ******s. As for Rampage I just don't like him I mean I'm a fan of non-human designs but he didn't pull it that well.
Gah. Please, no more 70s disco porn music with my reviews. Aside from that, not bad, but I'll stick with the tried and true method of explain to the watcher what you're doing.
I'm closer now to liking Skids. Long Haul ain't too shabby for a FAB; we'll have to see what his regualr figure is like. Rampage is just walking garbage. I'm glad he ain't rolling around on wheels, but either make him humanoid or make him bug-ish, but don't give him bug legs and a giant backpack with legs. I hope his CG version is better than that, cause the toy is just physical agony to look at.
bulletthebluesky
Well, surprise, surprise! Skids is actually kind of neat. Might have to get him after all.

Only watched Skids so far [no reason for me to watch the FABS], will watch Rampage later.
Deluxe are getting more and more complicated [in a good way] with each line. Galaxy Convoy is less complex to transform than this one, heh.

That Bumblebee is a nice figure. I'd rather hear commentary. These videos are better watched with the sound off. The music is annoying.

Wow! I can't believe I'm saying this… But Skid's toy actually looks pretty cool!
And I'll probably break down. and buy Bumblebee. The Headsculpt is just too cute not too.
