| TS-01 Trans-Scanning Optimus Prime and Music Label Optimus Prime (G1 Version) Released in Japan |
| Posted on 03-26-2008 at 07:39 AM by Tim Formas | | FanToFan.jp is reporting that both Movie TS-01 Trans-Scanning Optimus Prime and the G1 Version of Music Label Optimus Prime have been released by TakaraTomy in Japan. Among the pictures on FanToFan.jp is a picture of the Generation One style movie figure catalog that was included with Trans-Scanning Optimus Prime. All of the pictures can be seen by clicking on the FanToFan link above or by clicking on the image to the left.

Along with the usual pictures, they also have a shot of the G1-style Movie catalog that came with T-S Prime.

However, I'm hoping that there will be a Music Label Blaster sometime soon!
That'll crack open my wallet in a hurry.

That's a little bit smaller than I was expecting for Trans-Scanning. I may have to rethink my decision to get Bumblebee.

The picture of TS Bumblebee in the catalog is of the unpainted proto. That's really weird.

Hasbro should be selling those ipod convoy's themselves, I can't imagine they'd have a hard time shifting them given how retro cool they are not to mention the Apple association.

I will wait til we hear word of these coming over or not before I decide to buy them. The import prices are too high for me. Also, with the armor on, is it possible to transform prime into truck mode without parts removal? If thats the case, thats pretty damn impressive. Head noggin and huge back kibble aside, this figure looks neat and surprisingly poses well even with all the parts added on.

I like ordering from BBTS but man that price is high for me! So I am hoping at Botcon Hasbro announces these as an exclusive or for mass release, I bet they will be released as voyagers because thats what the box size looks like.
