Recently shown at New York’s Toy Fair by Hasbro, Genzhao brings us in hand images of the Voyager class Night Ops Ratchet repaint. Taking its paint scheme from the RPM line, this figure has a more vivid paint job than previous releases. The vehicle mode in particular seems to have gained a fair amount of paint applications.

Silk Spectre
I honestly don't like the color scheme. He looks like a mess to me.
Maybe if I see more pictures, I may change my mind, but I'll be passing on him either way. I have two voyager Ratchets (one is the G1 color version), and that's all I really want.
Sorrow Six Star
SSS the thread killer! strikes again!
Sorrow Six Star
why would a "night ops" emergency vehicle be a dark color? isn't the point to SEE emergency vehicles? he should be glow in the dark instead.
SPLIT LIP
Armada Bendy Prime, classics Starscream, hell, TFTM Voyager Prime is a recent one.
There's so many others.
SpencimusPrime
It looks so neon and '90's, I'll just have to buy it.
Sharktibolt
I missed this piece of news due to us losing our internet from all the bad weather here. Honestly, I love it. This movie Ratchet mold has always been one of my favorites, and this version rocks.
Of course, since I already know I'm buying a bunch of other figures later this year, it'll have to be a compulse buy if anything.
pantherfan1
I like this version, might have to get it.
RedAlert Rescue
Windshield isn't correctly transformed in the robot mode, they also did that at the toyfair I note.
Nice police Bumblebees though.
Skyclaw
SORRY I'll pass on this one! not liking anything about it.
A brand new mold needs to be created for Ratchet, instead of repainting the same old turd…
TwinSpin
My biggest problem with this is keeping the original Ratchet green. Here's a rough I did, replacing old green with the new bright green all over head and arm bits. It's rough photshop job, but I think it works better to unite the colors, make head pop – and make the greens less clashy.

Good concept, rather poor execution.
This should have been a Premium: swapping the black for charcoal grey,
premium gunmetal metallic paint for the robot innards/frame and metallic red for the search n resque logo/stripes.

actually liking the color scheme, but….i hate this mold……..
Digilaut
He looks nothing like Flatline. Why would somebody use this mold as a base for that, and why would everybody outside of the person who will do it care? It won't magically make their Night Ops Ratchets better..
Synthecide
Why is Hasbro still milking this mold? Let it die! It's horrible.
My Desert Ratchet has horrible mold rot. This one exhibits the same problem. The problem is where the inner legs are supposed to line up with the back of the thigh in vehicle mode – it never lines up properly. I had to sand some of that region to get it to fit.
DO NOT WANT.
Autobot Burnout
Wow, that is a very G2-ish paint scheme. I actually like it. I might just pick it up to retcon into movie Trailbreaker or something since I KNOW I must get Deluxe Ratchet first.
Voyager Optimus Prime, the 07 movie version has had:
-Normal release
-Robo-vision release
-First Strike release (G1 deco)
-Freeway Brawl release
-ROTF release (the one with the Chinese lettering)
-Defender Prime release
-ANOTHER ROTF release (same as the other one except with 'different' lettering this time around)
-"Unite for the Universe" (I think a slightly different version that comes with Jetfire parts)

So anyone here have all of the Voyager Ratchet repaints? I think a full "Ratched Fleet" might be a collectors obsession. Maybe I'm speaking for myself.
Can this mold win the prestigious "Most Repainted" award? or are there others out there?
RedAlert Rescue
I'd have prefered a desert deco, or a weapons remold.
But colorwise, I really, really like it.
The lack of remolded weapons does seem a bit lacklustre though.
Will be buying, and is likely to become my 'default' Ratchet.

Hopefully,
One of TFW2005's skilled Radicons can righteously modify this figure into "Flatline". The brand new Decepticon character who made his debut in Transformers: Tales of the Fallen #6 (Arcee).
RodimusZero
I can't believe they're still using this crappy mold 3 years later. This and the 2007 Voyager Prime mold need to die. Also, Deluxe Ratchet is unbelievable win. SOOO cool.
TwinSpin
I think the worst part of this is they left his face and parts of his arms the same original dull green. And then they have this nice bright green on the car body. Those colors don't work well together IMO – epecially on the head – which should pop more. If Hasbro spent the extra $.0000009 to brighten up the rest of the green this might look awesome.
