| Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Keychains Reveal Jetfire and Optimus Primes Combined Mode |
| Posted on 02-16-2009 at 08:00 AM by Sol Fury | This hot news just in from Toy Fair 2009 - a series of licensed Transformers keychains will include a keychain of the combined Jetfire and Optimus Prime! You can see the image to the left of this story. While it is a blacked out image, you can see a very clear outline which reveals the overall look of the combined form, which includes multiple wings, twin boosters, and a suitably large gun!
Three other keychains are also a part of the series - Bumblebee, the only one shown in color, Starscream and an anonymous "new character coming soon", whose silhouette bears an uncanny resemblance to Megatron in his new tank form.

That is some serious detail for keychains! Bumblebee looks great and so does Prime's upgraded sillouette. Wonder if he dies and Jetfire revives him by merging with him?

For some reason, seeing the voyagers mixed with deluxe to make devastator, and to not have to give us a supreme jetfire...I Think leader jetfire is gonna combine with voyager optimus.

That actually looks really cool. I can't wait to see what the Leader Prime and Jetfire figures look like combined. You just know that they're going to do that. I just hope they don't compromise either one of Jetfire's other modes just for the combination gimmick.

Man, all the designs just have me wanting to see the movie. Seeing Arcee separate and combine will be awesome, seeing Devastator become a 100-fot monstrosity will be stunning, and I'm sure that Prime and Jetfires combination will be suitably epic.

I know this comes up every time but the SR-71 really doesn't look THAT big next to people, especially if it's going to be a big jetpack and body armor in the movie.
If they can greatly cheat UP the mass of Bumblebee, Prime, etc in the film, there's no reason they can't cheat down Jetfire in combined mode and have it all blend.
I mean there's nothing to a car like Bumblebee just hollow sheet metal and an engine, but look at how beefy he is.
It'll work.

Hmm...very cool. I really hope they don't end up calling Megatron Galvatron, because he still looks like the same 'bot and there would be no need for a name change. Also, Galvatron isn't cool enough to be in the movie...unless he's IDW Galvatron.

Plus I don't know about you but for once in this movie universe I'd like to see Optimus Prime beat someone without humans, without combining...just kick someones ass, like in the animated film.

unless, they decide to make the combined mode look nothing like the movie. in which case, i could see the 2 leaders combining. and everyone's ok w/ the toy not looking like the movie, right?
