Inferno isnt bad at all.

but there's still Cybertron Mudflaps polluting stores even now. Why do they expect this terrible repaint to do any better?

Cool. They interest me, especially Inferno, but I'm not sure I'll get either one. Depending on when they are released, how much extra cash I have at the time, and if I can get to TRU at the time, I might get just Inferno, as I wouldn't mind getting a copy of that mold, and the colors do look pretty good on it. What do you guys think of the mold? I've never had one, and I'm not sure how good of a mold it is.

Inferno looks good. Mudflap is only so-so, but I'll reserve judgment for Botmode.

I never liked Armada Red Alert mold. Looks too much like a Tonka truck. The Mudflap is quite nice thought.

This is certainly out of the blue. I don't think I'll be picking them up though, tempting as they may be.

YES. I love the Armada Red Alert mould, and was crushed when my so-called friend broke him. This is and excellent deco to boot.

These are store exclusive toys. You can't expect stores to get brand new molds all the time as exclusives can you?

I would be more interested if they'd repainted Cybertron Defense Red Alert instead.

I anticipate that these toys are going to turn up at around the same time the Animated toys come out, so I assume I'll have lost most interest in the Movie toys by then.

Well, these are Armada and Cybertron toys which I expect you've lost interest in long ago. I never expected to see the Armada Red Alert mold again.

Pretty cool, both are decent molds. I doubt I'll be getting them, but you never know. I'd be inclined to get Mudflap before Inferno though in spite of the bright yellow colors.

FINALLY a Mudflap redeco. It's as good as bought. He'll be my Classics Grapple. He's such a good toy, I don't know why more people don't like him. Inferno looks all right, but not good enough for me to go out of my way to buy it. I never really liked the Red Alert mold, even though it was the most posable Armada toy. He's just too big for what he's supposed to be.

I'm one of the few that really loves the Mudflap figure, but man that deco is terrible. I've wanted a sweet repaint of him to buy for ages, this is not it.

Inferno I can easily pass on; I was never a great lover of the A-Red Alert mould - I think it's the shellformer feel he gives off with his spindly-looking arms and legs compared to his big chunky chest.

I would very much like Mudflap, though. He looks like a very nice fig, and I've never seen the mould here at all, so I'd definitely be up for a bit of that action.

Yeah, you really do want your Cybertron Soundwave repaint and Cybertron Quickmix repaint don't you?

I'm hoping for even more repaints now. We (or I) need a Cyb CD Scattorshot as a Flak homage and a Cyb Evac repainted as a Decepticon...Vortex maybe.

I'm loving the Micromaster homages Hasbro keeps doing for the movie. There needs to be more of them in my mind. Tho they should have just called him Erector since that's what most of us will call him anyways.

Inferno out of the Arm Red Alert gives us one more Unofficial Armada Autobot as there was an Inferno in Energon so this can be Armada him. I wonder what the Mini-con's name is tho as it wasn't on the MIP shot. Most likely Longarm again but he can be renamed too in my collection.

And Mudflap could still be done in orange for a Grapple if someone wanted to produce it. Hell, replace the crane with a ladder and he could be an Inferno as well.

I hope a few more of these pop up as they make the Movie line a little fuller since over half of it was just the same movie guys over and over. I hope that Target get's into the act and Wal-Mart snags 4 more since the last 4 are so damn hard to find. (Big Daddy, I'm looking at you) Keep hitting the Micromasters for ideas as that seems to be working.

yay, more non-movie mold repaints in movie packaging. instead of 'allspark power', they should say 'universe 2.0 preview'. i'd rather have more actual movie repaints. decent decos, though.

Nice!!! I'm loving the Inferno redeco of Red Alert... always loved that mold and was ticked when he broke.

I'll be passing on Mudflap again though... and, while I didn't think it possible, they made his colors worse.

Guess I'll be headed to TRU for Inferno and Jetstorm. Sweet.

Kinda disappointing, too, since the Armada figures are so dated now. I would rather they had repainted Cybertron deluxe Red Alert as Inferno (or hell, even G1 Red Alert)... but I guess they wanted a larger figure. I'll likely be passing on this one.

As for Mudflap... I wish they had gone all the way with an Erector homage: red face, red windshield, grey highlights instead of white, and a more yellow-orange base color. I'll probably still pick him up, though, as I never bought Mudflap. The mold actually DOES make a pretty great Erector, with the three sets of wheels.

But hey, more Micromaster homages are always welcome!

More repaints? I'll pass, already have Red Alert & Mudflap Mudflad remindes me of Grapple, but I would have like'd if they repainted him into Hook.

I'm definitely getting Mudflap... I *want* to avoid Inferno, but man, I have all 3 other Armada Red Alert repaints so is that a reason to buy or not to buy Inferno?

And I *was* all set to say no to Jetstorm and Wingblade, but Hasbro pointing out mounting Classics Astrotrain on Jetstorm might change my mind. Just open the flap in front of his head and stick Astrotrain's front landing gear in the gap:

Inferno is as good as sold, but I've got Mudflap, and he's not worth another go-round.
