next line of allspark power movie toys that are walmart exclusives due out in september. effin movie repaints...
rattrap007:
Is it me or does that look like a TF Classics/movie version of the gobot Crasher?
Abrogate:
I'm actually glad they're Movie and not Universe. If they were Universe, I'd have to stick to my "semi-completionist" dogma and buy all 3. But instead I can be choosy and skip Crankcase. Quote:
Originally Posted by rattrap007 Is it me or does that look like a TF Classics/movie version of the gobot Crasher? | That's exactly what it is. The 3 new Wal-mart redecos were meant to be Universe figures, but were shuffled into the (should be dead by September) movie line for some reason. Fracture is Gobots Crasher, Breakaway is G1 Getaway, and Crankcase is himself.

But, I would think that the movie line would be off the shelves by that time. Either way, yeah, these are probably the last three movie figures we're going to get (Fracture, Breakaway & Crankcase).

Personally I could care less what card and bubble they glue it into, the toy's a great homage and easily in my shopping list.
Locustreign:
I wonder why they didn't just stick "Decepticon" on the front of Crasher to make it "legit", like they have with everything else...
WhiteMocha:
Good... showing up on eBay means they'll be hitting the stores soon. I am salivating for these three figures.
And yeah, screw the packaging, these are going on my Classics shelf.

Want badly! Liokaiser:
I love that color scheme.
tamo536:
must get(at retail) AlanGarou:
Finally, a Movieverse Decepticon femme. It's about stinkin' time; the Autobots already have two. And oddly enough, the Mirage mold works really well as a female.
FREEFALL:
Awesome. She will be mine, oh yes. she will be mine.
dark69:
i want her so bad!
TheMonarch:
We need more classic/universe Go-Bots.
B-Fox:
Very nice. I want this repaint.
...too bad the neckbeards won't allow anybody who opens their toys to get this or any of the exclusive repaints at retail. Expect them all on ebay and never on the Wal-Mart shelves. Like Masterpiece Starscream, Big Daddy, Divebomb, Grindcore, and Jolt.

Dinobot Nuva:
Do want this, do want the rest. They'll go nice on my already massive movie shelves.

Runamuck:
Exactly as I thought, more movie toys. I don't know why they're still producing movie stuff, bu whatever.....I'm still going to get it.

Like Masterpiece Starscream, Big Daddy, Divebomb, Grindcore, and Jolt. | If this happens, I will personally arrange an army of angry, toy-deprived 12-year-olds and righteous fans to take them down. We shall find them and rip open their mint-in-box toys. Their fat-muffled screams of indignation shall signify a new era, one in which children shall wander the toy aisle without fear, and the stockroom shall be an impenetrable fortress. Who is with me?

Leader-One from Classics Starscream.
Turbo from Cybertron Crosswise or Hot Shot.
Small Foot from Movie Ironhide.
Coptor from Cybertron Evac.
Cy-Kill from Crossovers Spider-Man (new head though).
Optimus Scourge:
I actually like this. Great mold to begin with and I love the color scheme...
I thought I was done with movie toys...though these are more like Classics to me. If I actually see these at WM, I will get them, but I'm not going to go out of my way on ebay for it.
Paradigm-Shift Prime:
I'm not a huge fan of the repaint colours...really the 'movie' repaints that are from non-movie molds all have pretty ill-conceived paint schemes IMO.
The Mirage mold is easily my fav classics mold though so I'll still be getting this for sure...oh wait Wal-Mart exclusive...maybe I won't. Damn you exclusives!!! And damn you Canadian versions of major retailers!

And damn you Canadian versions of major retailers! | Eh eh, I hate exclusive too, never to be seen in Canada But, there's online store and of course some nice folks here that can help to get them Basketball Jones: I wonder why they didn't just stick "Decepticon" on the front of Crasher to make it "legit", like they have with everything else...
This only works with names that CANNOT be trademarked, which are generally very broad terms such as "Jazz". If a name can be trademarked and another company already owns the trademark, as other companies have purchased the names "Motormaster" and "Trailbreaker", "Decepticon Motormaster" would probably be rejected by the legal team.
Imagine Hasbro attempting to sell soda as "Decepticon Coca-Cola" without Coca-Cola's permission. It would never be passable.
Thus, someone must already have trademarked the name Crasher.
Fit For natalie:
According to the TF Wiki (whom I would trust on this since the decos are by Kyde and he's friends with Walky's crew), Fracture, Crankcase and Breakaway were originally intended to be in the new Universe line.
I would assume because Walmart requested a Movie exclusive, Hasbro decided to stick them in the Movie line.
flywheels:
I'm wondering how much of the movie line will be incorporated in Wal-Mart's summer toy reset. I figure this wave of exclusives will be just has hard to find as the first wave was since my guess is there will be less space alotted for Movie toys with Animated starting to hit retail now.

I would assume because Walmart requested a Movie exclusive, Hasbro decided to stick them in the Movie line. | This is true. I asked him myself and he said they were always designed to be in Universe/Classics, but Wal-Mart wanted to have them as Movie exclusives so they were put into Movie style packaging. If you read their bios (check Transformers.com), they are not specific to the Movie either, they can fit in either (not mentioning any Movie specific characters - I believe Megatron is the only one mentioned and it fits in either universe).
