Why don't they ever COVER UP these vehicles?! Covers = keeps things clean from weather/dust/dirt and hinders people from knowing what these vehicles are.. Unless they WANT us to see these vehicles, which they probably are doing, as they are parading them around like some kind of ad-campaign.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to cause any trouble for anyone, but I had already put up a thread for this topic. Would it be possible to delete my earlier thread or attach it to this one?

hmm... I wonder how long these'll stay shiney 'cuz I was expecting new molds for all of these characters.

Or would the CGI be just too complex to start over with.

WOW Ironhide is huge. I knew he was big, but he just looks huge in these pics!

My apatite is wet, we want more if anyone anyware sees any cars,trucks or toilets being transported by the company Slide take pics i think thease may be new transformers.

though this is awsome. I am willing to bet they are doing this on purpous. Just to hype us up! I hope ratchet gets repainted to look like the white toy!

What a Tease!! So we have seen all the Old Autobots except BB I doubt they will be just towing that car around town. Maybe they are on the way to get Repainted or Whatever and besides Teasing us they wont look the same anymore. Who Knows???

I'm kinda getting the funny feeling, we've been seeing pics like this to lead us astray. For being a highly commercialized and merchandizable (is that even a word?) franchise, I'd suspect them to go with new vehicles/designs for a lot of the characters.

Plus like was brought up, why aren't they covered up? Unless they want us to see them. Most of the pics we saw from the first movie were on shooting locations and studio lots or whatever. They weren't being driven around cities and freeways for all to see.

And with Bay in the helm again, I think he would push for new looks with most of the characters. He's a very visual director that likes a lot of flash and bang. I'd think he would view the vehicles and designs from the first movie as passe now.

This is all just a hunch, I know I could be completely wrong! Only time will tell.

Maybe they're there cause they're on their way to a car show somewhere. (that was a silly sentence).

I like the fact that they're the same vehicles... Continuity FTW! Also, you never know, they may need to change alt mode during the movie to hide from whoever's (humans) after them

Umm ... yeah as for the ones saying why aren't they cover em up, I agree. He purposely wanted us to see it cause if not, they would've been covered. (=___=)

In a few weeks, I have a feeling we'll see another one of these, one with a vehicle from the first movie (so we'll recognize it) and along with it it'll be with a new vehicle from the movie that will have us guessing who that new one is.

halfway through the movie the Minicons will probably repaint them. like ALLSPARK blue . Starscream will then look at himself and say " I look like Thundercracker". So we all win . We get to relive crappy Armada storylines and Quotes, and we all get the rerelease of the movie thundercracker figure.

Even if they are changing the designs, they will most likely start out as their previous alt modes (like bumblebee changing from '77 to '08/'09). This would help save some money too.

The wait for this movie is going to be even more agonizing than the first.

you are probably right. the last seven or eight months leading into the first one was agony for me....so i expect by summertime or fall when we get the first teaser i will go absolutely nuts.

In the script that was leaked months ago Ironhide and Rachet weren't mentioned !! I'm glad to know they are in !! I hope Arcee is in as well !! PLEEEEEASE !!

you may be more right than you think. Culver City and surrounding areas are home to a LOT of hollywood related businesses. Alan Hall's special effects shop is in there, sony studios, countless other businesses that cater to the film and tv industry. the cars could be going from shop to shop for who knows what kind of modifications.

That sounds like a nice theory, maybe that's all that hasbro needs to sell toys, a little modifications but keeping up most of the design as in the first movie.

Must admit seeing Ratchet and IronHide next to 'normal' cars and such... they are freaking HUGE!
My flat mate and I have been thinking it would be hilarious for Ratchet to go on one of his infamous tirades in the new movie.

I think there just moving them as an diversion. They sayed they would try to keep things secret and they would make bogus scripts as an diversion, so the fans wouldn't know what the film is gonna be about. Maybe this is a diversion too. Because I would have covered the cars up during transport too keep things secret and too keep them clean.

Ironhide's alt-mode (as pretty much all the Autobots' alt-modes in the film)is a custom-made GMC Topkick, that's why he's so huge - looks like a truck on steroids. I've yet to see one of those, or a hardtop Solstice, or the 08/09 Camaro on the streets yet, where I live.
