TFClub has posted the final images for its TFC-005 Gear of War 2 accessory set. We already knew that it would include a regular size G1-style rifle with bulit-in LED function, minisize G1-style rifle and a detachable LED attachment. What we can now see in detail is the movie style add-on set, which combines with the regular size rifle to create movie style rifle, and can also be used as a backpack rocket launcher (or gatling gun) with its LED shining through Classics/Henkei Optimus' lightpiping!

DISCUSSION: (Jump To This Thread On The Boards)
Bgrngod:
Hay, the Arcee Battle Rollar. I think the only prior pics of that were fancy photoshopped images. Too bad that figure is the king of floppy-ness.

I hope the TFC-005 box art changes a bit. That looks a little too much KO to me. Rather disappointing.
245am:
I'm all for weapons accessory packs, so YEH! But personally not interested in these at the price, so meh.
Shelfwarmercon:
Props to them for trying to update Roller. Admittedly it's not my cup of tea.

So...how about all that loot they got as dinner presents, eh? >_>
Bgrngod:
The-Arker put up a few images too. These make me slightly retract my statement below about the packaging looking a little too "KO". That close up of the gun definitely makes me grin ear to ear.
Liselotte:
wow, looks great tbh.

I think many of these images may have popped up before but several of them are certainly new. Specifically the instructions. I cherry picked what I think might be new. The link has many more that are similar to what has been seen in older threads already. I hadn't seen that idea with lighting up Classic Optimus' light pipping yet. That is pretty cool. Also, the gun looks great on Alternity Megatron! Compatibility with the FP Classics Trailer is a nice touch too, even if it's only to the extent that the guns fit into some holes inside it.

I guess this is confirmation that if you want to have your ROTF Prime dual-wield matching guns, you gotta get two sets.
process:
omgah that set is awesome on so many levels!
CowColor:
i gotta order one now.
Tiller:
More guns never hurt anybody. Unless you're the bad guy. Plus they're really pretty. I gotta get one for my ROTF Prime so he can finally have something to shoot with.
Ultrawave:
Somewhat interested now that I see Prime holding the movie gun. Anyone know how much this is?
jbvirus:
where can i this?
Acteon:
Gah, I really want the gun for alternity prime, but that's the only one I have a figure for. I can't really justify paying the full price for one small piece of plastic, but it sure is pretty.
Takun:
It looks pretty slick, especially considering its a few attachments that are interchangable for different modes, pretty nice.

On a different subject, just how are they transformers Power Up prime in that title pic?

Thats a sly look, any details where to reproduce it? (Ive only ever done mine as the instructions give out. =/)
alien:
its very cool enough!!!!
GAUGE0001:
I'm not digging the black plastic tbh.

The cannon/s should be chrome.
Bahamut Prime:
Wicked cool!
timusbrew:
I am digging the extra weapons.
VakamaMetruNui:
Oh man, that Movie prime gun is awesome. I would love to get that. Does anyone know how much it is?
sanchomaul:
best 30 dollars I ever spent! cant wait! Red alternity convoy eludes me still.
BScorpinok75:
Looks nice but I don't think I can work it into my budget.
Solrac333:
Looks cool.
Matterzero:
This is really cool, unfortunetly it's just too expensive.
Ironhide9012:
where do u go to buy this?
dragon:
wow tfc has sold out they bought fans projects trailer i couldnt resist syaing that.

guns are nice but there just not for me & the sall comic i dont get it with the boy & other primes to show the gun at tht e end

From any of the fine establishments whose banner you see RIGHT ON TOP OF THISE PAGE.

Or ebay

or the FS section if you're lucky and someone happens to have an extra near you

or hong kong, japan, singapore, etc if you are there or know someone there

Oh, and you should check walmart too
OptionZero:
I want the LED/gun for classics prime, but I don't plan to get Leader Movie prime or alternity convoy, which makes makes it hard to realize the full value of this set.
Xaxis:
Wow... $30 isn't too bad. I think I'm going to order one... maybe two.

Yeah....this is my conundrum too. The G1-style rifle is the part I am most interested in of this set.
giga-galvatron:
Im in the same boat. I like the G1 style weapons but not enough for parts of guns I dont intend to use. Maybe if it last till clearance.
influence82:
I wonder if Movie leader prime can hold it on his left hand. That way he can dual wield the cannons like in the movie.
The toys look really well done. The company put a lot of effort in the sculpting and features, making the guns very versatile for many figures.

It actually looks pretty similar to my setup..........

with the exception of the shoulders, but anyway, I can't see myself buying this set, perhaps if BBTS has a good clearanse or something.
project9:
I can't wait to get this set. If you own all 3 figures (which I do), it's a pretty good price. If you're paying $30 for a gun just for ROTF Prime, then yeah that's not worth it. It's just a shame you can't display them on all 3 at the same time.
Switch625:
$30? No way. $10? Maybe.

Well, also remember you're getting two guns as well as the interchangeable parts. So even if you're getting this set for just one of your figures, it's a pretty decent kit. But yes, it's a bit more helpful if you have some of the other Prime versions to stretch the set out.

I've technically got all three figures, but the Classics version I have is Ultra Magnus. Still, the whole thing is pretty awesome considering both guns light up. I was totally expecting $40+, so $30 isn't that bad a price. I can see why it turns some people away, but it's definitely something I'm going to be getting.
OptionZero:
Best bet if you only want one is to split the kit with someone else.
webz:
I'll wait and get the knock off version on ebay for $5. All I want is a decent movie gun. I would have been a definite customer at $10. $30 for an LED and some quick-injected pvc is a tad much
VakamaMetruNui:
Hey I'm wondering, would you be able to buy this in a japanese store? Cause I have one near me. And I was wondering, is the shipping outragous?

You can't get a decent movie gun for $5.

The canned "This is a garage kit so the price is accurate" response argument applies perfectly to this set.

MP Prime already has a kick-ass accurate gun. None of the guns in this kit would really work for him. If you where to go just on the box art, and the included "comic" art, MP Prime is nowhere to be seen.
