GAUGE0001:
Interesting, I wish these could be released here in the U.S.
GAUGE0001:
ewwww look at the 2 differant colored yellows what's up with that?

So far the Prime one looks much better than poor BB here :/
rabbid1:
I happen to think this is a pretty cool picture. I wish they were available here so I can nab one.
Vector Sigma:
I MUST own these guys...
angeltread:
yeah, the lack of consistency in the yellow looks terrible. otherwise, these are nice.
Railguard:
They look alright but I'll have to pass.
Switchblade:
Cool idea, decidedly iffy execution. The car mode looks really nice (I had to check closely to make sure it wasn't the deluxe version), but the other four modes are a bit of a mess (especially the asteroid).
Darkspeed:
Interesting... I like the alterate transformation this Bumblebee has, and it's alt. mode looks nice and solid.

However I'm still a little dubious after all the comments for TS Prime, so am undecided.

[He's] a BRICK! ... HOUSE!

Agreed. I think it's one of the uglier ideas we've seen lately, and with all the one-eyed movie-bots, that says something.
Satomiblood:
Broken record, but when will these be released (in Japan that is)?

WTF!? Looks like they didn't even try. But you are right.
Soundwave84:
It looks okay that is all i got to say about it!

Don't listen to the nay-sayers. TS Prime is awesome. The only problem I have with him is his near-Alternator level difficulty transformation process on a figure that's the size of a Deluxe. I don't regret getting him at all.

As far as TS BB goes, I really like his looks, but I'm bummed that he doesn't have any weapons. With his tiny fist holes, it's going to be hard to find something that will work for him.
saberconvoy:
Man i really want him and Prime its so cool.
jon:
hey im in okinawa right now and the toysrus here has trans scanning prime and will get bumblebee soon when hes released. I can ship them to the states for retail and shipping. i dont know how much they are at toysrus but i can look this weekened. pm me if anyone is interested!
World Prime:
I have both of the trans-scanning figures and although I intend to do a detailed review with pics at some point I would like to say that if you are only gonna get one of the two go with Bumblebee. Prime is too bulky and shell-formery and can barely stand in bot mode, although the truck mode is nice.

However, Prime is also a monster to transform and it crosses the line from fun/challenging to just obnoxious, whereas BB is much simpler and looks just as good in car mode. Way better looking in bot mode and much more poseable. Also, the yellow protoform armor makes that mode much more interesting to look at than Prime's blue on gray, although the latter is much more accurate and cool in an alien way.

So yes, if you got the cash it would be cool to have both (like me ), but if you're gonna go for only one Japanese TF this spring, make it Trans-Scanning Bumblebee. He's hella cool.
