Robot Heroes Movies Blind Packs Found in Malaysia robotheroesblindpacksmc1
Member raptorclans dropped by to let us know they the Robot Heroes blind packs mentioned some time ago have been sighted at a 7-11 in Malaysia! The figure cost roughly half of a Legends class figure. Take a look at the packaging and the movie Optimus Prime raptorclans got by clicking on the image on the left.

raptorclans:
Well i remember the post on Robot Heroes Blind Packs not too long ago, it appears they started selling them this month at local 7-Elevens here in Malaysia (they even added them in their promotional posters!). And I thought they were Transformers candy! Costs RM9.90 each, which is roughly half the price of a Legends Class figure and less than 1/5 of a deluxe over here. Not too sure if it is worth the price but I just grabbed one for the fun of it

Update: Talk about lucky man... look who's inside

Update 2: List of other figures in the Blind Pack line...

Spiderus Prime:
Soon that are going to The US.
Nevermore:

Not in the necessary.
Soundwave84:
are we really getting that?
docbenspock:
well? who's in it?!
OmegaVPrime:
I don't think I would like those very much, when I was young, I used to love pokemon.....but hated it when I would get the same thing in more then one pack....god I hated those professor cards
raptorclans:
Updated with who's inside at 1st post

Wait, what?! They're giving out the Best Buy DVD exclusive Prime? Any list included inside with the full assortment?

Also, the inclusion of trading cards is awesome, and confirms my suspicion that this is intended to capitalize on the Gormiti craze.
raptorclans:
Yups there is a list... I'll post a photo of that later as my boss is now rushing me with work... lolz~
LightningZERO:
7/11? That's the last place I expect it to show up

Maybe I will go buy one too

Dinobot Nuva:

SpeedBreaker:
Surely it would be possible to tell the figure inside by feeling the packaging?
Lennox:
Best Buy Prime! ARGH! I hate Cliffjumper, so I bought that DVD boxset for nothing.

I was thinking the same thing, unless it was cradled in a plastic mold-bubble thing.

well if you dont want cliffjumper..................................
raptorclans:
Well, it did have some air in it... but I wasn't as skilled as to guess what character was in it...
Railguard:
Well I hope at least that they are cool looking.

That sounds to me like the talk of someone who only collected the cards, rather than actually playing the game. Had you BOTHERED to acquaint yourself with the rules, you would realise that the Professor Oak card was one of the most strategically powerful cards in a player's arsenal, allowing you to draw a new hand and thus opening up a world of expanded opport...

...wait, did I say all that out loud? Uh...forget I said anything.

As for these blindpacks...I've got to say, I really do like this idea. I quite like the looks of the Robot Heroes toys, but I've never really been able to justify buying them to myself; cheap little lucky dips of this variety might just add in the extra fun factor required for me to take the plunge. Hope to see these in the UK soon...

I think he was refering to the "imposter proffessor oak" rare trainer that wasn't nearly as usefull as "professor oak" was kinda a sucky rare compared to what you COULD get in the base set.

ahem move along now NOTHING TO SEE HERE!
knook:
Can't wait for the UK release
monkeydluffy:
i'll third the hopes for a uk release. I'd at the very least buy one for me and one for my girlfriend. shame they arn't out now, they'd be awesome stocking fillers.
are they all movie figures in the set?
knook:
erm, Its not a hope. The UK flag is at the bottom of the packaging
Skylock:
I so like the idea of these.
knook:
Is there going to be a list posted?
raptorclans:
I'm back guys, sorry for the wait... Here are scans of the line... Seems there are more characters than we thought...

paco608:
are these comming 2 america?
Silverwynde:
Oh, jeez, something else for the Supreme Nutbar of my household to chase down, now that he's seen the cards that come with.

So long as he gets me extra Bumblebees, I can live with it.

Doubtful, because among other things, this set throws together a bunch of the exclusive Robot Heroes that were already released here. Hasbro's info and the packaging also suggest only overseas markets getting them.
knook:
Awesome. Now I'm happy
