I love the mold. It's just a great piece of engineering. I even started drawing a model-t Kup based on the aesthetic of this figure (before I realized the model-t bot was the daddy of ransack) But I gotta knock this one for the lack of apps. It should use at least the same number of colors as his brother. Also I think the logo from ransack should have been ultilized in some way (it's so gonna be my first tatoo) I'm still a sucker for it so I'll get it. And another toaster for the dog house idea.

Knew it was coming eventually. I'm not really one for repaints and I much prefer the original paintjob for this figure. Loses his old fart-looking charm somewhat. And in alt mode looks like a brightly-painted kiddie toy now, whereas the original looked more like a cool model kit. If that makes any sense.

Red ransack is wicked... I put off buying the other one so many times and then broke down and bought him a couple weeks ago.. should've waited a little longer
I might consider the beachcomber repaint also, He's one of my few remaining original G1's and I've developed a soft spot for him would look cool together with the recent universe figure I picked up months ago

Awesome. This repaint was a no-brainer. Not fully sure I'll get him, but I most likely will. Would be kinda funny if this turned out to be the mail away figure, lol. He'll make for a nice addition to my Decepticon troops.

Having said that, a previous poster had a great point about this having fewer paint apps, and I must say that I really miss the more natural color types used on the original figure. Even so, thanks to Hasbro for listening to the fans and giving us this still very cool redeco!
