Revenge of the Fallen Robot Heroes Scenes Wave 2 Devastator
2005 Boards member ChaoCatcher has spotted this pair of new Robot Heroes listings on Amazon.com. These listings, Shanghai Shootout and Desert Devastation will continue the Robot Heroes scenes series, and Desert Devastation will most likely be the set that will include the Robot Heroes Devastator figure we saw some time ago (pictured at left).

As always stay tuned for more information.

ChaoCatcher:
Following up on the official pics for the Battle of the Fallen and Battle for the Allspark Robot Heroes scene sets, I also found these listed on Amazon:

Amazon.com: Transformers Movie 2 Robot Heroes - Shanghai Shootout: Toys & Games

Amazon.com: Transformers Movie 2 Robot Heroes - Desert Devastation: Toys & Games

Perhaps the Desert Devastation set will include the big Robot Heroes Devastator that was leaked a few weeks ago?
shibamura_prime:
Shanghai Shootout?

RH Old guy eating noodles or GTFO.
barrelks:
Damn, they sure are whoring out this line this time. I have tried to stay away from most of the Movie RHs, but I may have to pick up the rest of the Movie 1 ones that I missed cause I have a bad feeling that I am gonna want them all now. These sets are gonna make nice display pieces.
AkatsukiFan:
well at least there's the Devastator scene
flamingunicron:
please have a cut in half sideways *crosses fingers*
Dirge121:
If the Shanghai set includes a big Demolisher I will have no choice but to buy.

From a business perspective, isn't that the entire point of any kind of movie merchandise?

Just about to post this. A big, cute-faced Demolishor would be awesome.

YES.
Alkaline:
My guess is this set will include a navy boat.
Sol Fury:
Extra large Demolishor would be a cool addition. I was thinking it might be a set with more characters, like the Arcee sisters, Sideways, Sideswipe and the twins as an Ice Cream truck. But a giant Demolishor, Sideways, Sideswipe and Optimus with parachutes would work too.

I assume he'll be regular-sized but still. I assume the set also includes vehicle mode sideways.
kwickstrike:
i give you, the best rotf devastator yet
Railguard:
I am sorry, I am too old school for this devastator. It looks ridiculous.
hupla:
Wait are there pictures? I dont see any.
SPLIT LIP:
Man, I can tell I'm going to want these guys just from the names.

That's the idea, dude.
OptimusKronk:
Did anyone notice Mixmaster and a couple of the other constucticons in the final battle as well as combined into devastator.

smaller versions look better than the supreme
Ethereal:
Depending on how those look, I might get them. I don't really like the RH line that much, but if they're cute/clever enough, why not?
Drew Eiden:
I want that Devastator to fight Contructin Devastator
Da_Razorsaw:
I need a RH Lennox and Epps.

I don't see why this confuses everyone. Devastator is a seperate Constructicon who splits himself into vehicles while still keeping the one mind.
He's not built out of Long Haul, Rampage, Mixmaster, Hightower, Overload, Demolishor and Scrapper in the film. He's a seperate character.
But yes, the legends does look better.
Maximus_Prime:
this is going to be awesome but this begs to question...

Why didn't we get a big Unicron robot hero?

Well, if we all buy these sets like good consumers, we just might!

And I don't care what Hasbro says, I'm absolutely convinced they will continue with the Universe RH line after all the movie hubbub dies down. There is just TONS of RH Movie Awesomeness right now. No need to crowd the shelves!

Because the price point didn't exist at the time, and Unicron only popped up int the third wave of the original run of this line.
Dran0n:
Really liking Devastator, but $21?!?

They come with multiple figures, same deal as the Star Wars Galactic Heroes screen packs.
cleazer:
Robot Heroes are one of the better ideas Hasbro has come up with in the past few years. (Along with the associated Star Wars Galactic Heroes, Marvel Super Hero Squad, etc.) It's cool that these movie sets will feature some new designs.

Lots of choices for the Shanghai set. The Devastator set would seem to be a little more straightforward (likely with Skids and Mudflap), but I suppose Hasbro could just pick any random TFs that were present at the gigantic battle at the end, which would be pretty much anybody.

That guy was awesome! I want like a play set of that house!
jazzimusprime27:
Okay, what I'm about to type has nothing to do with Robot Heroes.
I think the next Transformers series will be a continuation to Animated like Energon was to Armada and my reason why is that since the movie is coming out they'd introduce a bunch of new character i.e. the Fallen and Devastator and use it later in the new series. That is probably why Mixmaster, Scrapper and Dirtboss didn't combine.

Okay now Robot Heroes. Does anybody get embarrassed buying these, essentially, "baby toys"? They look cool but I get embarrassed easily and just want some advice or something.
tfan123:
Here's who should be in each one:
Shanghai: extra huge Demolisher, any one of the Arcee bikes, sliced in half Sideways, Prime and either Epps or Lennox
Desert: Devastator (of course), Simmons, Leo, and either Skids or Mudflap in vehicle mode.

Also, another scene that should be in the line is the museum scene: Jetfire (vehicle), Sam, Mikayla, and Wheelie.
