ponn01:
blocked from work, can someone post picture?
Fretburn:
Dammmmmn that looks nice. As much as I love my old Movie OP...this has much better proportions. And I'd wager a very different transformation scheme.
shroobmaster:
4chan guys are the best.
Omega Charge:
I bet it has back kibble.
Thundercrackah:
My god, that is a thing of beauty. Bought!
Silent_Magnus:
So do we continue the discussion here?
Overhaulimus:
Mine.
Absolutley mine!
Ravenxl7:
Optimus looks really good. I might actually get this Leader version instead of the inevitable Voyager class mold. Though if the Voyager combines with a Jetfire figure, and the Leader doesn't, that'll be the reason I get the Voyager instead. It does look like he has a bit of back kibble, but it doesn't look bad at all. Doesn't look as though we'll have to worry about a Premium version, even with accounting for how different the stock photos look compared to the actual product. I might actually end up buying three Leader class figures from this line. Optimus Prime, Jetfire, and Megatron (if they make Megs a Leader), or their inevitable Voyager class figures.
mineraljane:
That glare spot is such a tease!
Tekkaman Blade:
Looks much better and closer to the movie than the first version. Glad I didn't buy the first movie prime. I hope megatron turns out as well.
Digilaut:
My initial feeling was slightly disappointed..I dunno, looking at the arm and back kibble it feels kind of weird (although the kibble does seem to represent the right parts on the cgi model

, maybe a bit too big?)...also, the arms are kind of weirdly attached to his chest...
Still, I shouldn't bitch. I bet he looks awesome once someone snaps an out-of-package photo..and even though the TF1 Leader Prime was awesome, this one is indeed more movie accurate!!
Skylock:
Definitely looking better.
Orion_Prime48:
damn thats gorgeous though its possible the legs are a little mistransformed
Fort Max:
Very impressive, who'd have thought they could make such a difference with a remake.

Seibertron did put it up, but sorry if I'm breaking rules.
Aberration:
Damn, I feel pretty stupid for double-dipping on the first movie's figure now... (original and Premium)
ponn01:
That actually looks pretty nice. It looks like he may have some articulation. The first movie Leader figure was a brick-former.

Huh?
the first movie Prime had plenty of articulation.
At least enough for it to not be a brick.

I think that's how his arms are attached to his torso on the CG model. They kind of extend out with these bits attached to the shoulder like muscles. By comparison, the first 2007 Leader class Prime had a block torso that the arms connected directly to, more like a traditional Transformer.
SmokescreenGT:
Looks nice, but I'll only get it if he combines with a leader class Jetfire. Otherwise, I'll just stick with my Premium Leader Prime.
Beastbot X:
...No upper leg kibble? Hooray! My only major beef against the Leader class toy has been solved!
Seriously how DOES Hasbro engineer these incredible toys?
Tekkaman Blade:
I hope they actually use blue lights this time.
PredaconVukasin:
Thats kick ass! Im glad they have the back area like they do! It looks a tad misstransformed though..... at least the arm area doesnt look fully secure. I wonder if the swords can be removed, lets hope... I kinda hope the leg wheels are executed better.
Heat Guy:
Looks good, cant wait to see how everything all fleshes out from truck to robot and in between.
Scourge_151:
Very nice, looks like I'll definitely be buying a second Leader Prime after all. I think I can spot where all the truck bits are going in robot mode, he looks so much closer to his on-screen counterpart now, right proportions and panel locations, much leaner in general.
I approve wholeheartedly.

I hope so too..but blue LEDS run out much faster than standard red and orange ones..so we will see.
I'm interested in seeing this Mech Alive function..there's alot of small parts on this bot that makes me wonder if they might all go automatically (otherwise it would be a terribly hard TF to transform!!)..which would be AWESOME!

With ancient Japanese magicks.
neospark1:
Looks absolutely beautiful. More detailed, more accurate, and the toy arms confirm the more "armored/solid" look discussed by Bob Orci. Yay fan input!
Bumblethumper:
It wouldn't surprise me if this turns out to be Ultimate Optimus, rather than Leader Class. Lot of gimmicks there.
But it's top notch all the way from the looks of this pic. I hope the kibble situation isn't too bad.
hutchprime:
Ummm....THAT'S freaking incredible.

Yeah same here. I see little reason to spend another $40 on mild alterations. Although if Takara chromes it up all kinds, I'd consider that one.
flamingunicron:
might have to sell original optimus prime
netkid:
My only 2 gripes are his red toes and red shoulder-post thingies right next to his smokestacks. Those should be silver/gray.
Everything else is goddamn beautiful and spot on to the film. Wow. Excellent work Hasbro has done on this. Thanks Hasbro.
Rodr-Evil:
Very cool, but is like the same toy.
0R10N P4X:
FTR, that's not the complete picture.
0ptimus__Prime:
Alright! Bring on the Deluxe and Voyager pics!
Bgrngod:
All over it. Love the look of this figure. I especially like how his tires are all together at his hips. I hope the kibble is reduced quite a bit while in bot mode. That was really the only problem with the first movie Leader Prime. The movie accuracy of this one, when comparing to the first movie, is astounding. Pretty cool to see what hindsight can do for the toy designers.
Nachtsider:
Anonymous delivers.

How they got the arms to form the hood, and the back tires and front tires to both stick to the legs where they well should, is beyond me.
Gryph:
Wow! Even better than the first one.
PredaconVukasin:
Hum with this amazing toy, they have no excuse for bad figure! I hope megs is just as good, I love his alt mode! This is great though, Tf1 prime is great, but Ittll probably be put up.

It transforms in a completely different way. Looks more accurate.

Well, more so then powermaster prime. Looking at pics on HTS and comparing and this one looks to have way more articulation. 1st one had simple elbow and hip movement but no real poseability. I always kept mine in truck mode.
This one though seems to have taken some notes from the Transformers Animated Leader class toys.
joopsta:
Looks better than the first movie Prime, but I think I'll pass.

Looks like his legs still make up the bulk his front end.
So I wouldn't call it "completely different".

Are you sure we're talking about the same toy here?
spawnofunicron:
I love the look of this prime he looks a lot better than the original leader prime mold ( which i have all us versions) So a must top priority for me to get when the movie line comes out this year. But i still like the original figure. Also his transformation looks complicated because if you look at both modes at first glance i can't tell how to even think where what would go where.
SarahMobius:
OK, it's got some fun gimmicks, but it looks way to similar to the first movie's toy to justify my buying it. Very cool, but I think I pass.

Oh I absolutely agree, but this thing will never live up to the hype. You just know there'll be some little thing that doesn't click in place, or some quality control problem, or some gimmick that just gets in the way.
At that level of complexity, I'd be surprised if nothing goes wrong, but regardless, it's an incredible piece of work.
