Revenge of the Fallen Evac and Mail Order Exclusive Ravage

-Pics of the BB Vs Soundwave NEST package Mission Guide and pic of mail-in Ravage.

-NEST Alliance catalogue scans, including (NOT AN EXCLUSIVE) G1 Blades-themed Blazemaster redeco. (NOT AN EXCLUSIVE) Also confirms the Hasbro release of Red Rampage.

Just to head off confused people saying "Hasbro sucks for making X G1-themed toy an exclusive" complaints: Evac is NOT AN EXCLUSIVE as far as we know. Wait for detail confirmation before deriding them, I say

'Evac'(Blades) looks much better in those colours. It's supposed to be a crappy mold, I probably shouldn't have got it in the original deco.

AWESOME! I want that Ravage! Three NEST stickers won't be too hard, especially when one comes WITH the Bumblebee/Soundwave 2-pack.

This mail-away exclusive thing is really neat and I'm glad to see Hasbro doing something like this again. I especially like the little "story" they've built up around the exclusive Ravage repaint. I originally wasn't planning to get the Soundwave/BB two-pack but will definitely pick it up now, more for the Mission Guide and required sticker than for the figures themselves, though. And I already have Bludgeon and Recon Ironhide on pre-order, so that right there would give me all the stickers I need. I hope this idea is success so we see more of these in the future.

I'll be passing on the Evac and "Skipjack" repaints, though. I can't see owning another version of the Blazemaster mold, since it's not very good. Rampage is a decent figure, but I prefer the yellow deco and am trying to cut back on repaints anyway.

I was really hoping for a Legends red Ramapge and/or Legends gray Demolishor... Maybe later.

I guess that Flaming Ravage will go good next to The Flaming Fallen. Pass on both.

That Deluxe Red Rampage is pretty much the only character redeco fig I'll pick up.

Not sure what the Blades talk is about. Evac looks orange to me.

Interesting. It's interesting to see that the mail-away figure is a repaint of Ravage. While I was never planning on getting the mold, I'll be getting the 2-pack, so I might as well get the mail-away figure too. Now the starter sticker makes sense. $4.95 is about what I would have expected for the S&H. The deco on him is definitely interesting. It at least looks more interesting then the original one does. It won't be difficult to obtain two more stickers for Ravage. After I get all the figures I plan to get, I'll probably have enough for a couple of Ravage's.

Evac looks interesting, though I currently don't see myself getting it (the arms on that mold still really bother me). I'm going to wait for more pictures before I make a final decision on him.

Anybody else think it's slightly odd that the Rampage repaint doesn't have anything added to it's name? Like Desert Attack Rampage or something like that. I'll probably put the Ravage repaint in the place I was saving for "Skipjack". The Rampage mold is nice, but like TF1's Jazz mold, one version is enough.

I wish they would have done Blazemaster in red as Blades. Even so, he does look sweet as Evac. Definite buy, as well as red Rampage. I'm debating on the BB/SW pack, though, I was hoping Ravage would be silver and movie accurate.

Actually yes I do. The way they are going on about him, you would think they would've named him "Priority Target Ravage" or some such.

I'm glad the mail-away exclusive is something I don't actually want. Can't be bothered with the hassle.

That's awesome! It'll go great with the Soundwave in the pack, since both of them have red accents.

Was slightly dissapointed with the Ravage repaint at first, but it looks really cool, and it is an exclusive. Will be getting this pack. Also, finally confirmation of the Red Rampage.

I was kinda concerned that Ben had closed-up his site for good but I'm glad he's rebooted it with a new lease of life (I'm guessing Ben's Mates at Hasbro are still hooking him up with news... )

I know right. The funny thing is too is that I was thinking about him the other day, and I was about to ask if anyone heard from him. I'm so glad he is still around though, he's he's always been such a great guy.

that ravage is nice....goes with the soundwave perfectly, going to get at least two, because to open one and to keep one sealed

The Evac and Rampage redecos are cool, but the new Ravage doesn't look all that different from the current version. I guess we can't expect much more from a mail-away.

Lockdown is absolutely stunning.

Yes, I just complemented an Animated character.

Not only does revealing the offer and the booklet mark the triumphant return of new content on BWTF, my oldest TF haunt, it also nicely circumvents the dick move attempted by The-Arker.

I liked the Ravage, but never really felt the urge to pick up the original. With this darker and almost bloodied color scheme on the new one, I'm warming up to it much more. And there's certainly other NEST toys I'd buy anyway, so I guess I'll be going for one!

The NEST Evac is cool, but we already got that color scheme and name on another helicopter. On the other hand, the Blackout mold is arguably a worse figure (could go either way, personally), so it's cool for Evac fans to have an alternative.

Not seeing a huge difference between the Ravage we are getting and two Legends recolors in terms of "exclusive characters", not to mention somebody totally new would probably be viewed as more of a dick move by Hasbro than an alternate version of an existing character.

Ravage looks boss, and I love this whole promotion.

That is a HAWT Ravage repaint. Definitely worth buying the barely-different Bumblebee redeco for. Evac and red Rampage are pick-ups as well.

Hasbro really needs to quit it with reusing names from the same continuity, though. Reusing names for different lines (or for toys in the same line that are meant to be the same character) makes enough sense, of course, but there's already an Evac in the 1st movie line. And a Divebomb, and a Jolt, and a Mudflap.

Awww. Such a waste of a mail-away with a crappy mold that can't transform into anything useful (a la Scorponok). PASS.

Already planning on getting Lockdown, Bludgeon, and Mindwipe so that's 3 right there, looks like I'll have no problems with getting the mail away Ravage.

I think I've transformed movie Ravage once and that's it. And, I may sell it if the legends mold is cool.

EDIT: yeah, I don't like this mail-away, but I certainly hope that more mail-away figures await us in the future. Exclusives like this are a pretty cool idea

Ah, Ah, Ah You didn't read the fine print:

"Be sure to include your sticker from the Bumblebee/Soundwave 2-pack (97855) and any 2 figures from specially marked Deluxe Class (83971), Voyager Class (83972) or Leader Class (83973) figure packages!"

So they repainted Ravage as...even less film-accurate? Huh. I like the silver on the limbs but the bright red is kind of silly on Mr. Super-Spy. Still, may go ahead and spring for the $5, I'll definitely be getting a good chunk of the NEST line.

Then again, if you NEED to buy the two-pack I may pass.

Oh HECK yes I'm gonna get me a couple of those Ravages.
Won't be much of a drag collecting the stickers, since I plan on getting most of the new stuff (except for the Bumblebee, Sideswipe, and Mudflap repaints; probably pass on Evac since Movie 1 Evac=Superior).

Gonna get all of them but still debating on the repaint of Blazemaster and Sideswipe.

I would think they would still use the card. After all, it is already done and ready for use. Unless they wanna be really that cheap.

^ I passed on the first Sideswipe. I'll get this one if and only if they include the remolded chest from Swerve. Otherwise I'll just get Swerve. (I want an Autobot with swords to fight Bludgeon!)

Cool. I like that color scheme on Ravage. And Evac looks nice. I love the Blazemaster mold.
