New Wal Mart Exclusive Three Pack The Legacy of Bumblebee 99_11562_bfd9cc751101fe8
A big thanks to clonemanager of our 2005 Boards who directed us to some pictures that have been posted on ACtoys.net of a new Wal-Mart Exclusive Three Pack, called "The Legacy of Bumblebee". This special set includes Classics, Movie Premium Series and Animated Deluxe Bumblebee. Of special interest is the Classics Bumblebee, who has received a small repaint for this release - he now sports black stripes instead of the original white and his Wave Crusher jet ski now has more yellow on it, but differently placed to its Transformers Henkei release.

Containing Classics Bumblebee with black stripes, Movie Premium 08 Bumblebee, and Animated Bumblebee.

A big thanks to clonemanager for the heads up.
Gears:
I like the new paint on Classics Bee.
Runamuck:
I'd buy it! In fact, I am.
Bumble Prime:
ha now i dont need henkei bumblebee

Yes, that makes the deco for me. I don't have Premium 'bee either so I might go for this set.
cbff:
Bought. Now I can skip retail Animated Bee and Movie Premium Bee and wait.
Prowl_Delta_31:
That paint on the Classics BB is pure greatness. A must buy.
Draven:
That deco does actually look really nice on Classics 'Bee. I'm tempted.
Locustreign:
Ooh that's really nice. Might have to pick this one up.
Grimwing:
Pass. I'll probably have single carded premium bee by the time this is out.

I actually don't like the black stripes on classics bumblebee. but at least it differentiates them enough from the original classics release and keeps with the scheme of the other two for those interested in the pack.

At least were getting a picture of how the movie line is apparently going to last through the september. (wal mart exclusive movie crankcase, breakaway, and fracture release)
Superquad7:
Wow, I don't think I can go wrong with this set; this is really cool
Kingplay:
count me in for this! i want one!
catch22:
I like that Bumblebee's forearms are now yellow instead of gray...I'll definitely be picking this up if I can find it.
Rodimus Major:
It looks nice, but since I already have Premium Bumblebee, and sold my Classics Bumblebee to get the Henkei version, I'll have to pass on the black stripe version. Still..if they release that new version of Classic BB seperately, I'd probably get it.
DestronGenerals:
i'm pretty torn on this... the variant of classics BB would be the reason to buy it, but i already have a classics BB... and even though i'm not collecting movie or animated toys, a premium movie BB and animated BB aren't bad figures to have packed in.
Gigatron_2005:
I want! But two questions:

When will this come out?
and
Will I ever be able to find this when it does come out?
Takara_destron:
Tempting, extremely tempting.
I hope this makes its way to the UK.
Backscatter:
Another exclusive on the want list.
Chaos Convoy:
lol man...and I just bought Premium BB at Wal-mart here a few days ago. It figures.

Oh well. I can always give it to my friend. That repainted Classics BB is a must-have for me. It looks really nice. This set is as good as bought, assuming I can find it.
Noisemaze:
Read all the reply's above. The response is always the same no matter what! Every time there's a new release the thread & the replies are always identical. Even if they're the same toys everybody already has just in a new box it's always the same. Kinda makes you wonder. I'm starting to think the movie "The Matrix" is actually real & I'm inside it right now.
DELTAsnake:
I never liked the white paint on Classics Bee, the black is a big improvement.
doomtron:
consider this one bought

We must be reading different threads.

Anyway, I'm gonna need to see that set in person before I decide anything. Regardless, it's the final nail in the coffin for my interest in Premium Movie 'bee.
Liege Prime:
I have several of the Movie BB molds, and Classics BB. I have little interest in Animated BB (I like the line but think he just isn't impressive enough to buy yet another BB) so unless I find this for some crazy good deal I will pass on it.
Silent_Magnus:
Well I don't have classics Bumblebee or any of his movie bees.
Depending on how widely available this is I might pick it up.

only downside is that I'll have to go into a walmart.

In all fairness though, I can see where you're coming from. Comes with the territory, but for those who don't own the figures already it's cool. And that Classics Bumblebee redeco is pretty schway in my opinion. Not to mention, it is a very nice display piece if you plan to get it and leave it boxed.

Same here. Yesterday, actually.

That's exactly what I plan on doing!
Dark_Convoy:
They should have painted classics Bee like that in the first place, yellow and black makes a lot more sense than white and yellow, plus it looks great.

They should have thrown one of those key chain G1 BBs in there for good measure.

Yes, there is something strange about a bunch of collectors talking about buying a box set that includes one redeco and two figures that a lot of people don't have yet. Keep looking for clues Neo.
Sol Fury:
No need to be sarcastic, Cax6ton, or anyone else for that matter.
Robogeek28:
Hmmm, I want that Classics Bee, but not the others, anyone willing to sell me him that doesn't want him?

What, that some people don't want it, but that amazingly, on a Transformers fan board, more than a few are interested in buying it?

Yeah, that makes me wonder also...

And I'll actually probably pass on this. I have Classics and Henkei BB, as well as damn near every iteration of Movie BB. This set has two and possibly three great molds, but it'd just be one too many for me.
Devastattor:
Hmmm, since I don't have any of them, this might be a good buy. I really like the paint on Classics BB.
nkelsch:
This looks awesome. I am going to pick up a large number of these for christmas time. TF multipacks make great gifts for kids in need around the holidays.

Any idea the price on these? 25$? 30$?
Eric:
Eh, I'm sorry. But I don't like the black racing stripes on Classics 'Bee. Just...doesn't do him justice. Pass.
Soundwave84:
yeah def plan on buying this one!
Big Filipino:
I didn't see this get answered but does this come out and how much is it?
AutobotMarine:
I love the new color scheme on Classics Bumblebee, I'm sold and sold!

But how much will this 3-pack cost at retail?
GrimlockAutobot:
Dammit....if Hasbro keeps coming out with such great stuff like this, it's going to be hard to convince the wife to let me keep buying it all.

Complete agreement. In fact, when Classics Bee first came out one of the first things I did was recolor one of my pictures of him with black stripes just to see what it would look like. A bumblebee is black and yellow, afterall.

Unfortunately, it comes with movie Bee, who I lost all interest in after fiddling with once, and Animated Bee, who looks interesting, but not interesting enough to draw me in. I think I'll be passing. I do wish that version of Classics Bee was available separately though.
rodimusconvoy:
With this set planned, do you think we will see another one for Prime or Starscream, even Megatron who are the ones that are in the 3 series besides bee?
optimus major:
quick question...is this out now???? if so i am going to go hunt that down

also....did we even know of this set's existance?
Thundershot:
Wow. Assuming I see it online, I'll get it.. Hopefully it comes out at the same time as Fracture & Getaway (and... um... the other one) so I can order them on walmart.com. I'm through hunting. It's cheaper to pay shipping than spend 4 bucks a gallon in gas searching with no guarantee...

Not a bad thought...though probably for Starscream only...having Prime and Megs would warrant a $60.00 price tag...

Hmm...not really liking the black on BB...the white on the original is more fitting for him imo...this set may stay MISB if I purchase...
Zie:
I'm not a big fan of the repaint, already have a Movie BB and one is good enough for me and have no interests in getting Animated BB.

...and yet, I'm strangely tempted to buy this
Pauly T:
Having never bought Classics or Movie 'Bee, I'm quite temped in getting this...
rodimusconvoy:
I will have something new in any case, because I dont have classics, I have the original 08 Bee, so the one in this set would be different for me, and I dont own the animated one.
Dinobot Nuva:
I'll just have to get two of these...
DN
Ace96:
Looks like this will be my first and probably only animated toy. Gotta love BB.
Ktulu:
Man that's a buy. Great for MISB if nothing else.

I agree with DC, the keychain G1 Bee would've been nice too, but ah well.

The black on Classic Bee definitely looks nice - as said before, it's much more of a 'bumblebee' sort of color scheme anyway. Pretty cool
