New Revenge Buster Optimus Prime Image

As Jarodimus said, I'm talking about the hypothetical Premium Hasbro release, if this figure ever sees one.


My guess is, for a Hasbro release, they may give him a more significant deco change and release him either as a straight repaint of a new character or as a new "something" Optimus Prime.

the mouth does nothing for me since i always thought it looked weird. i hope that the guns impair the look of the tanks in vehicle mode, i come upstairs finishing (almost) my repaint to find this news and i don't want to be tempted again

Wow this is really awesome! I've always wondered what a movie Prime with the mouth would look like since getting the first movie Optimus and seeing that the Animated voyager had a mouth. Might get this but i already have the orginal so idk.

i think ill hold off on ROTF leader prime until its certain if we will see this here in the US

I was hoping for chrome. Oh well, I'm happy with the first leader Prime. Until/unless they make one with chrome.

1 from the looks of it. with the way one of them forms the back half of the gun, it looks like the look of them as tanks would be compromised

I think I'll stick with the Prime I have, unless this sees an American release.

Looks like this is gonna be my fourth Leader prime, the selling point is more the face instead of the gun.

(I dont mind Having 4 primes either, Its my favorite toy EVER made so it's all good)

This... I can understand Premium Prime. He was a changed figure. But this... this is a whole upgrade. It's not a change (well, apart from the head), but it's upgraded. Parts that pretty much did nothing on him now do something, so it hasn't necessarily changed, but upgraded. This is quite the outrage. And you know that there's going to be something with a second gun, because he had two in the movie, this makes one, and so they'll probably make another. I'm wondering if that custom will be well-done (perhaps form part of the figure) and cheap enough to buy two, because I might settle for that, but this is awesome, however, given the circumstances, it's not a very pleasing piece of news.

If they had given his head a detachable face plate or one that flipped down to reveal his mouth I WOULD have bought this. I think I'll just get the GEARS OF WAR guns instead. If they chrome him up real nice later then I will buy a second leader OP. Untill then I'm good.

where there is a market, there is a way... Give it a month or so after release, and some knock off company will be selling the guns in a twopack, for $10 or so, so we can keep the faceplate AND have the guns...

Oh, and I almost fell out of my seat laughing at all the people who have said "about time we got a figure without the faceplate." ... I remember in 2006 when we found out Prime didn't have a faceplate, and ya'll whined and swore off the movie, cries of "raped childhood" echoing the hallowed halls of TFW2005.

God damn them and their creativeness!!!!! I so can't afford buying another freakin prime! Guns aren't even all that accurate though, but these are still preliminary prototypes I'm guessin. Crap, they'll probably chrome him too.. Man, I really can't believe they are doin this, what happened to not repleasing the same figures this time around...

I've been holding off on ROTF leaders, and I only kept my Movie 1 Premium Prime, so I think I'll bite at this one. That way I have movie 1 "Melee" prime with plate and movie 2 "Gun" orime with mouth. Best of both molds.

I hope they do an upgrade to Megatron as well.

I saw this coming. There swapping what they did with the first movie. Last time, First Prime had gun, Second Prime had sword. This time, First Prime had swords, Second Prime had gun. The only difference is this time second Prime has a mouth.

On the swords being on this one, I think they won't be on production. From the looks of it, this is a prototype of the retool. What I'm saying is that they stuck the new head and tanks/gun on the First one. I only think this because the head isn't painted and the gun is hardly painted.

I am glad they did make one with a mouth and a gun.
