Mechafire:
Hmm. More underbelly kibble than the Voyager...
Still very cool, though.
T16skyhopp:
Looking good. Not as kibbleless as the voyager, but pretty neat looking. Want!
process:
That is.. not small. And still bought.
G1Wheeljack:
Awesome, I hope the paint used for the tatoo's on this one is less likely to smudge off though.
Fit For natalie:
That F-22 mode is fat and stubby. Looks like if you take his legs off he'd be roughly the right thickness.
Fort Max:
Wow, not nearly as kibbless as we were led to belive by peeps who commented on the botcon pics they saw but can't blame them, memory plays tricks on us all.
Pretty sweet all told, not as bad as Jetfire from the side but he'll still spend most of his time in bot mode regardless.
P.s. Thank you Yizhi for good pictures like these that show us the size and such of the toys.
Draven:
Jet mode looks nice from the top, but suffers the same curse as pretty much every other TF jet mode from the side & underside. Still liking it a lot, but as Fort Max said he'll be spending most of his time in robot mode.
Takara_destron:
Kibbly, but still made of 100% want.
TCracker:
Wow, that is SWEET.
Ceerad:
It is kibbletastic, but at least it looks pretty well integrated.
Nowhere near as bad at Jetfire or TF1 Voyager SS
shroobmaster:
Let me see, what should be better, a decent vehicle leader with awesome robot mode, or a slighty better voyager with ass robot mode.
Tough choice!!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOT.
Leader is THE Starscream.
Cory Bauer:
Bring on the cheap shitty matte-grey plastic.
Deceptigtar:
and again, NO BOT pics damn it.

Jesus, that F-22 needs to lay off the snacks. Easy pass.

This is true. (Thank Primus)
And while it does have a bit more kibble than the Voyager, it's still no where near as bad as many other jets. And at least the were able to get most of it to somewhat form underneath as part of the jet mode's underbelly.
A for effort.
ryan.j:
Hmm. i'm not a fan of the grey plastic they're using on ROTF, it looks nasty but...

i'm not a dedicated transfan so i'm not really au fait with plastic politics.

LOL. I think CB was more than likley referring to the color choice of gray that was used, instead of heading towards a more "silvery" area.
A
Cool gray would be much more preferred and most Transformers, as opposed to a
Warm gray.
TornadoQuakeX:
Not as smooth on the underside as people from BotCon have hyped him to be. Still cool.
Pavol Palat:
No matter how hard Hasbro tries, some people will still complain... I'd recommend them to try building air craft models in order to satisfy their urge for super-realistic jet mode.
I myself love the thing. It's a bit fat from the side, but otherwise beautiful. Still better than both movie voyager SS. Will get this as soon as it shows up on ebay for a reasonable price.
shroobmaster:
Plus, 70% of us will keep it in robot mode and forget the vehicle exists anyway, and in the occasions that we keep it in jet mode we probably won't leave it upside down, so what's the problem?
Optimus Sledge:
I wanted something that just looked good in robot mode, I'd buy Robot Replicas. For £45, I expect better.

Yeah, I was hoping that jet mode would be an awesome display. This one isn't bad, just a little fat. He'll be in robot mode for most the time for me.
One question on the next Hasbro Q&A has to be about the use of brown/gray, I'm not a fan.

by ass you must mean kickass.
(I will not stand for a single word said against the ROTF voyager.)
Toxicon:
Large vehicle mode is large. Also, his missile launcher definitely is removable. Not a huge deal. I'll still be buying this the moment I see it.
U.Magnus80:
I'm satisfied. I'll take it.
Deathnoble:
Cha-yowza!
I am actually beginning to fall in with this line.
Radioactive Ravage:
So I'm satisfied.
Hell, when you own the Original Voyager Starscream you're pretty much satisfied with anything that looks remotely like a jet.
"Wah wah wah Hasbro dropped the ball..." Not in my case. They made a great looking bot with a great looking Jet mode- love the tattoos, etc- and I'll sure as hell have a good time playing with it.

If we renamed the toy Optimus Prime, would you buy it?

But... you said you wanted something that looked good...
Angelwave:
I just realized something. I'm kinda surprised we are already seeing a colored sample, already. I thought that this would not be showing up until the second half of 2010, or at least the middle of said year.
Nevermore:
Am I the only one who finds a thread titled "Leader SS" questionable?
bulletthebluesky:
Looks pretty nice to me.
But of course I know little to nothing about jets, so I wouldn't be as picky as some.

More or less. I can see what you're getting at, but it's pretty obvious they mean "LEADER CLASS STARSCREAM".
ams:
Very impressive. A metallic finish would have made this guy an over-the-top win.
SPLIT LIP:
Actually that looks good. From above it's a perfect F-22, and from the sides, even though it's bulky, it hides it well.
Can't wait to see more bot mode pictures. This is looking to be a deffinate buy on site.

This, it's posted in the context of a transformers news form, I certainly assumed it meant leader starscream.

Poho:
i'll definitely pick it up. it's a little fat but meh.
Digilaut:
Love him!
Alt mode is a bit fat, but at least from the sides it doesn't really look like robot parts, just underneath, unlike some robots like Jetfire..
Terrorcon Blot:
And considering how much people lust over good ol' Classics Jetfire despite that.... I think Leader Starscream is going to be aaaaaaaallright.

Hmmmm, the color while not tan is still underwhelming and I wonder if TakTom's colorscheme will be more metallic looking.

If there's one thing I've learned it's that some folks HATE having to click a link to see something. If it's not right in front of their face they have a fit.
