Like the look of the robot mode now, not sure on alt mode yet. Will watch this one with interest.

Actually, he looks pretty good. I'll definitely be getting one of his toys at some point.

That was the first thing I though of too, but Universe Razorclaw a tad more simply due to the darker shade of color scheme.. I just don't like it as well as you.

The alt mode looks a little similiar to Vector Prime.

Wow, I'm acually really impressed with what I'm seeing so far. I wasn't expecting much from the '08 Movie figures, but he looks really cool.

Looks like he's more than likely the truck concept we saw.

I actually have both of these pics and three others without any photoshop effects on them, but have been asked not to post them. I'll make sure to take plenty of pics when mine gets here.

Buddy settle down. Look i know all these blurry pics get frustating, but seriously. When the figure is finaly available on Ebay we will get more pics then HD pics. And then theres the Suv mode. If your having a bad day i can understand, but if your not, you might want to lower the profanity or maybe put some stars in there.

Can you tell us what significant differences you can see between the blurred pictures and the clear ones you have? Since you've been asked not to post them I figure this is the closest thing to seeing what it truly looks like.

This definitely looks better than the previous pictures, but DEAR LORD why did they put all that crap on his shoulders? And what's with the "claws" on his forearms? Ok looking, but unless they retract, I'm saying a prayer for the animators.

I'll do my best. One of the first things I noticed is that there's actually a missile launcher port behind his head in robot mode, which puts it facing out the rear of the "jet" mode. I have a sneaking suspicion that the "jet" mode is more of a fan mode and not the correct satellite mode. Since it looks like the launcher gets covered in robot mode, it would make more sense to be placed somewhere it could be fired logically (unless it's supposed to be engine flames, the missile is not pictured.)

What everyone says is the visible head on the jet isn't at all. The head is tucked away in the lower rear of the jet mode, on the bottom, it's not visible at all in the pic posted here. Head looks like a stylized Soundwave. He's got a thin red visor above a stylized faceplate. There's detailing on it that looks as if it's formed from 3-4 pieces that come together (kind of like Op's in the first movie, but the lines are a little more jagged.)

All of those angular fins that look vaguely like Bionicle swords fold up on his back and make what appears to be a pretty cool cape. It doesn't appear that his legs extend more than the pic, but it's not as bad because a lot of that "gorilla-esque" bulk is not on the torso, but is in fact the "cape" on his back. He's still a little squat, but not horribly so. The fists don't look like they rotate, a lot of the forearm is hollow for transformation. Judging from the size of pins/screws I can see, I'm fairly confident in calling this a deluxe, but I'll be pleasantly surprised if it turns out to be larger when it gets here.

All three orbs are definitely present on his chest, the outer two are covered by some folding panels (which you can kind of see are open in the Earth mode concept pic).

I think that's everything notable, but I'll do my best to answer questions, and I'm inquiring as to when I might be able to post the pics I have.

If that is a Deluxe toy, and It's mistransformed to be a ship rather than a sat, then I'm gonna call it being a Triplechanger cause that ship mode looks like it works very well. Hell for all we know, that's how he goes from planet to orbit and back again in order to do his spying.

Yeah, I think he picks up his Earth mode later on. All signs are pointing to this figure being a deluxe "Cybertron mode" sneak peek fig, like the Protoform Starscream and Optimus we got for the first film.

I still think this could be a Voyager-sized figure. Sure, he isn't very tall - but neither was Blackout, but all that extra stuff makes him rather bulky in bot mode which could lead to him being a smaller-sized Voyager figure.

Hell, all TF figures are getting smaller nowadays anyway. Animated deluxe figures for instance are barely bigger than the old scouts from the Energon/Cybertron series. Hope the movie line gets the figures in better scale this time (The Autobots were fine last time, but the Decepticons were a mess...)

I think it was more that the unicron trilogy had larger-than-average figures.

A better pic of the hands and they look really cool so with any luck maybe that means the movie is getting away from the tiny useless fingered look and going for robots that can punch the crap out of a battle tank.

That was my guess after looking at the pics; if the no-mass-shifting rule is still in effect for the movie, that'd either be a tiny-ass jet or a big honkin' satellite and truck, plus, it's probably easier to fold something into a jet shape than into a satellite shape.

I agree with likelihood of that theory. There is also the possibility that, like Protoform Starscream, this design may not even have any real part in the movie.

The only question in my mind is that I was under the impression that the original protoforms were among the biggest shelfwarmers in the line.

Yeah, but we didn't really see them. It sounds like we might actually get some bits of Soundwave in satellite mode in this one.
