I think this makes Hasbro's Premium Prime look half-hearted by comparison.

I like how the Japanese version kept all of the original paint details too like the blue on the hips and the red on the shoulders.

Unfortunately, I don't know any store that would sell the Takara Premiums, so I'll have to stick with Hasbro Premium Prime for now.

Looks better, but honestly I prefer Hasbro's version, I don't like chrome because it chips(and I handle my toys often so metallic paint>chrome for me).

Hmmm it looks cool, but that chrome looks cheap. That would be a figure I would never stand up in any surface but a piece of soft clothe. Anyway I am happy with my first Leader Prime with Custom Sword.  Kingplay:

Besides the chrome, I really love the extra paint ups the Takaratomy version adds to the face--really makes a difference. Though, still happy with my Hasbro premium version; mainly because of the price.

Mine should be here soon from HobbylinkJapan. I already took my Hasbro version apart in preparation for my custom Ultra Magnus repaint. I just can't decide if I wanna drop the flames or keep them for UM. If I keep them I'll have to mask them off to repaint but masking them on the curves is going to be a total pain in the ass. I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble. He might look better without the flames. I'm thinking that only Optimus should have the flames, the paint job shouldn't be identical on every version of this mold. Any opinions? Cheem The Rup:
